“In use, the idea is that all of the spokes will constantly be at the correct tension at all times regardless of what the terrain is doing, leaving an equal amount of pressure on all spokes, nipples and the rim bed.” would be damn interesting to ride... not sure if good for us or not...in my mind everything new and light is flexy (2005 maggie = brick, any new maggie = melted butter). a little scared about colored carbon fiber bikes/parts... people don’t make good decisions. aesthetics have disappeared

Rode my hex a bit at valmont bike park in boulder, colorado... a dream huge bike park full of everything you could imagine!!! Don’t think anything will break on it assuming you have decent parts... feels a little weird to ride on dirt jumps- not as comfortable as a dedicated dirt jump bike... but it does the trick for sure.

holy f**k. i just put it down and put the steerer tube..like normal.. that looks crazy!!! braided line comin out like 2001 life.

Before the street trials hype czar made a frame that looked very similar to that. in my mind czar, echo, adamant, zhi, zoo.... all made in the same place and were sometimes questionable quality. Koxx held a much higher price tag, more boutique- welds and finishing were usually better than the others but there are always flukes... I had many of every kind of frame, never broke any myself. also never had a brisa Do you want to ride like danny macaskill? this is a trials bike, it is not going to be happy trying the street trials moves in any way. it will not spin, bunny hop, manual etc. It’s long and low... For 175, who cares if it is cracked- the parts alone are worth twice that, buy it, enjoy it!! assuming you want to ride... TRIALS... it is an awesome trials bike.

the whole bike? jump on it. assuming there are no cracks, XTP used to be drooled over... I had a version that didnt have that crazy head tube situation, it was awesome. wedge master. does it have the big production number still stamped on it??

Looks fresh to me but I’m a big fan of 70s motorcycle style handlebars... have ‘74 Husqvarna replica bars on one of my steeds. 39” wide = Makes more sense to me to have them look more bmx. Did you get to ride it at all?? geometry similar to inspired?? How did it feel?

Here in Los Angeles its common to see people riding their fixie bikes while holding the handlebars of another bike, as it rides next to them. Major skills and balls considering the traffic here. Personally my favorite part of riding a trials bike is actually riding a bicycle. If you have a pogo stick “bike frame” you will not have fun doing this. I don’t consider pogo sticks to have anything to do with biketrials as they cannot be ridden as a bicycle. Trials was already the red headed stepchild in America- a sideshow... the pogo stick just killed it like a brick to a head, took away any semblance of a bicycle that trials was clinging to. Full retard. There is nothing more fun than bombing a hill at 25 mph on my trials bike, weaving in and out of traffic.- bunnyhopping things, taking tight turns and long manuals / nose manuals. Nothing is better than a 5-6 hour ride all around a downtown, hitting spots over many mile radius, spending good time standing up and pedaling... in a few years a drone will carry you and your bicycle so you can spend time browsing instagram and taking hella dop selfies #fallow4fallow

bash to rear, with a real bash plate on a monty xlite 221.... that is the greatest move to ever be done on a trials bike. lil groms got no clue

throw some arcade bars on there for maximum comfort and a bit of nice back relieving rise! You’ll lose a little bit in gaps but I feel it’s worth it... comfortabilty > inch hunting

mine rubbed as well - had to cut the side knobs off the tyre as the picture shows... enjoy your hex, a fantastic bicycle frame !! 45 lbs is what the cool kids are streety running... I can barely handle 40, rrrrrrough -

Little known fact- you can reuse zip ties, use a knife or a thin screw driver and hold up the tab that clicks into place and undue... honestly I have 800 zip ties for every “velcro strap” , maybe they are more common over the pond. Americans don’t know about such future things, we use all of our velcro to put shoes on because we are too stupid to understand how to tie shoe laces. also I dont have hydro brakes... taking front end apart is easy, disconnect at lever for good times. you also cant cut yourself on a velcro strap, sometimes you need that sharp plastic cut to feel life. -
my threshhold 5 bolt bashring is still going atrong after 15 years of bashinggggg... never even seen that integrated thing, looks like tinfoil.
