Ran nukeproof for years- the neutron still lives on my vintage single speed bike. Last year went to race face Chester- a plastic pedal, lighter than nukeproof, and thinner / wider.. made for Canadian downhillers, this pedal is now on all my bikes- don't know if thy are avail in the U.K. But they are cheap and amazingly grippy, light and strong... cannot imagine having another pedal. Plus James B runs them now so get on the band wagon, said he crashed on a downhill course- hit a rock w his pedal, the crank got bent but the pedal was fine. wellgo mg1 needs to stay with the times of shit fsa power pro cranks, if you aren't a small child and have normal feet they are tiny tiny tiny.

Awesome...hadn't seen that before. Ashton is a legend, shrewsberry?spelling such a joy to watch.. and what happened to jack meek , nick Goddard, Rowan jones...

Finally on a bike that doesn't look like the forerunner to a gay pride parade.

Music put me into the early 2000s... nostalgic feeling, also great to see tons of places that I know from watching U.K. Videos for 17 years. Glad to see that red sloped wall making a comeback- it was in every that video once the coustelliers came and rinsed it in the early koxx times. Feel like the white church? Area where you ride the bench was a popular trialskings spot, them going full speed gapping the top of the stairs tot he ledge you sidehop... could be wrong

I'd order a new frame and ride the heck out of it till it snaps. Edit: didn't you just get this frame? Good to see echo quality staying up to par.

Amazingly awesome there are so many kids exercising there !! The average fitness of kids in America is that of an 80 year old slug made from corn syrup... all they can do is slump over and swipe their phones. major balls going full speed at that huge wall, I would only think of having no teeth...also awesome that a park like that exists.

Tartybikes Website Update (Latest 29th Nov 2013)
AndyT replied to AdamR28's topic in Website Updates
I loved browsing tarty for years... just clicked a banner on here to look around, spent 10 minutes attempting to get into it- I'm shocked what a bummer it is now on mobile, hopefully it's ok on my computer... which I browse on 1% of the time. It's new and clean, but for example when you are looking at stems and you want to go to rims you have to scroll all the way up, then click the home page, then click the drop down menu, then click products menu, then click the product...before you just clicked the product you wanted from the left side of the screen. It was one easy click- now it's a video game boss amount of clicks to get to another product. Actually Just looked back- I guess you can go to something after scrolling way past the options for what product you are already inside, not intuitive and too much scrolling/touching the screen. Honestly the home page had me confused initially, I thought I had gone to a wrong site- didn't even think you sold anything any more, just videos and articles. Before you clicked rims and it showed 20 rims in a nice easy line, you could see them all at once- now each product takes the whole screen, never ending scrolling down, harder to compare the prices and what options you have...it's like a memory game now. Not trying to be an asshole, just giving feedback on mobile. Maybe I'm just an old f**k, but f**k scrolling. I want the site to work for me, I don't want to work for the site. Double edit: I keep going back and attempting... it's like the products are hidden, not natural, went to some other trials sites which used to look shit ghetto to me and was relieved just to see easy basic left side products always there, and easy to see lists when I click them... fast fast fast experience buying, you guys have the fastest shipping somehow from thousands of miles away, hope I get used to it/ desktop is better. -
Oh man you only want to live to 60?!? I'm going for over one hundred...

Massive. Looked like 24" wheels, if those were 26" my mind is blown. Make more videos Mark!!!!
-
This video made everything all ok... Beyond, best repost I've seen all year. edit: just watched main thread video. I'm not a fan of what competitive trials has become however he can "ride" a pogo like a motherffff.... works his asss off too, I hope he wins this year, best of luck.

Scared to click this at work
-
I love your edits but this was just enjoyable.. rf Chester pedals?? Best I've ever had, on my pogo and hex.

The earth is just floating on a shell of a turtle gliding through space, everyone knows that. Quite enjoyed the vid, hope to ride there one day!

I remember in the early 2000s people were running azonic pro taper bars on their Schwin homegrowns... saw a lot of them snap! I still have my 2001 club roost "go fast" bars on a single speed commuter with race face turbine lp cranks... personally the arcade bars are my hands/wrists heaven, here is the last ride I rode with them on my extreme pogo Gu: It was easily bunny hop-able, kind of easily manualed- but I couldn't put full leverage/force into gaps and wheel swaps were shit... sometimes I'd go up something and the weight would be just too far back. It wasn't right. I've not been able to ride due to injury since, but I've been slowly building an inpulse blast x with 145x25 /tt carbon bars to enjoy the ludicrousness of today's cheater high bb monstrosities. Instantly add a meter to gaps compared to my hex. i think these bonkerz new bars would add a foot to sidehops, especially cheater up to front bullshit.
-
All the new pure trials bars are blowing my mind... I haven't seen any in real life, but they look like double the arcade bars rise but put foreward... it's just the future of uci huge obstacle trials, and it makes sense with these monstrous never should be considered a "bicycle" high bottom brackets. I haven't put more than 10 hours of riding on my tt carbon bars which I love...but I want to check out these new ones for sure.

Aye thanks for making this, what an event... hugest event in the USA is 12 riders in a dusty parking lot with a couple rocks and curbs, you guys live in trials heaven. long live Kenny
-
Ten years ago replace handlebar night with 6" over handlebar height being the wall... today's handlebars are ridiculously high. almost as ridiculous as practicing sidehops
-
-
Up to rear is the only way to sidehop. To both wheels is weakness and to front wheel is pure fear.
-
I think there are more bmx riders in my town than trials riders across all of North America. Maybe 300?? Active riders in all of the USA. Canada has a good set in small areas, unsure about South America...
-
Believe my hex is 22-18, will check when I'm home. Run 18-15 on my pogo puff bike, on the hex I never feel like I need a stronger or lighter gear...

So nice to see Andrew still riding, he used to kill it... and still does with style, thanks for sharing !
