Coming Over From The Dark Side Well Not Completley

I would like to have a go at trail riding i do MBT and recently bought my self a focus pro 2009 HT bike :D . But would like to give it a go to see if i like it any ideas how as i dont wanna be lumbered with a trail bike if i dont like it. Cheers J
