  1. Honestly I'd say you can't go wrong with this from the for sale section https://www.trials-forum.co.uk/topic/198597-onza-limey-4-complete-bike-£400/

    Films!?

Last night made up for it believe me, freight trains can go f**k themselves...

    Films!?

I just can't get into DC films, everything about them just feels cheap and tacky. Even to the point where I'm struggling to watch the actors in other films after seeing what a shite job they've done already. In massively late news I watched Fury the other morning at work after seeing one of the reaction channels I subscribe to had seen it and I hadn't. Really enjoyed that, think I need to watch Dunkirk now though!
  4. I remember when people used to make topics asking whether people stood up or sat down to wipe their arse....
  5. The chainstay could be a mile long and it doesn't affect how many times you turn the cranks to turn the wheel a certain amount, a 22t chainring will always turn a 11t rear cog 1:2 (think that's the right way round) no matter how big the distance between the two.
  6. Still loads of straight RS kicking about, I had a pair of Pikes cheap off ebay a while back
  7. Kids have been back at school for a week and already my daughter has got to self isolate for 10 days after someone tested positive. That means she'll go back in next Thursday for 2 days then it's 2 weeks off for Easter, f**kin joke!
  8. Need to build a cheapish wheel up for my sons 27.5 and wondered if anyone can recommend a decent budget rim to use? Or even better does anyone have one or a pair spare?
  9. Need some help guys as my head is fried! Situation is I bought a Pro 2 EVO a while back to buid for my sons bike and I've just been having a tinker and my head is gone. The ID on the freehub bearings is bigger than the axle so it doesn't fit snug. I have a spare axle which I assume is 148mm as it's longer and the ED of that is the same from the bearing seat all the way down (which the freehub fits perfectly) but it's obviously too long as I need 135mm. I thought it had maybe had an original Pro 2 axle fitted at some point but then I compared it with one from a standard Pro 2 and the taper inside the hub body is different and I don't know exactly what the difference between a Pro 2 and Evo axle is. Got some QR end caps as well which I bought for an Evo which fit the bigger axle but not the one it had fitted (or the standard Pro 2. This is why I hate working on Hope hubs, far too many part numbers for one thing! On the plus side, the standard Pro 2 I stuck a bolt through axle and new freehub body on is perfect! Ideally I could do with a 10mm bolt up axle but a regular axle I can fit the QR end caps on will do if anyone can link me one?
  10. Wow I didn't know that, Trashzen was a great site for people just getting into trials and the section he set up of oldskool bikes was great. Sad times

I hate doing them, especially when you've got to do two or three in the same rafter. Always mess at least one up every time, doesn't help doing it on a 100yr old farm roof built from allsorts though!
  12. Can someone please explain when Charlie stopped being a tiny boy smashing a Monty 207 round?! The level of his riding is absolutely ridiculous especially with how off the cuff he makes some of those huge moves look.
  13. Looks clean enough that Dave! Done the 5 mile commute on the Big Dog that I used to do daily on my Genesis CdF a few years back. I fully expected to be slightly slower because of the extra weight and tyres so an extra 7-8 mins doesn't bother me but the best bit is the fact it doesn't feel like hard work riding on the road.
  14. That's gods punishment for denying us videos for so long
  15. That feels like it needs to be in this
  16. Should have stuck a V on the back then it would have been perfect

My 10yr old been getting his Colin Furze on again with this which he finished on Friday. Next project we're thinking of doing a drift trike, just need to source a pit bike engine.
  20. Yeah my mum lives on one of the western isles (Tiree) and I'm pretty sure they're getting close to there being more holiday home owners than actual islanders now which is great for the Summer season for pubs and events like the music festival and wave classic but the rest of the year the island is just dead. It's forcing people to move away to the mainland which in turn is killing the island as there are less and less farmers and skilled workers living there now which again puts prices of everything up.
  21. A lad I went to school with moved to London for about 10 years but moved back recently and said it was like winning the lottery coming back cause everything was so cheap. Sold there flat and bought a 3 bed with great spec with change left.
  22. So after going into winter with my bees in a pretty bad way (re-queened in September so colony was barely half what it should have been and I didn't fit any insulation until late November) I've just checked on them and they're still alive! I didn't think they'd survive the cold snap with such small numbers but with a mild day today there are a few undertaker bee's bringing the dead out of the hive and some foragers out and about. Absolute result!
  23. Been going through (most of) this with the kids and I had to get it bumped up!
  24. And God said unto John "Come forth and you shall be granted eternal life" But John came fifth and instead won a toaster.
