I did my trap doing weighted pull-ups on Monday and then lower back squatting too low yesterday! f**king agony yesterday but to be honest I had it coming after sleeping on the sofa all last week when I came in off nights.

Another upgrade completed at work last night. 2nd hand pair of Stans Flow mk3 rims on some Pro 4 boost hubs (bargain at £130 via the cyclescheme) means a top wheelset for well under £250! Still using OBM's wheelbuilding guide on here too!

I'm gonna take it when I get offered it. If you look on the British Heart Foundation website it states that ibuprofen is linked with 37.5 admissions to hospital for heart failure per 10,000 people which equals 3,750 per million. I'd say those numbers are considerably more worrying when people take ibuprofen and medicines containing it without thinking. Blood clots aren't a new problem and have been a massive killer for years (https://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/dr-beverley-hunt/blood-clots-are-more-comm_b_12466180.html article last updated in 2017), I'd bet that every person who developed one probably brushed their teeth within 24hrs of it happening so its probably safer if we all stop brushing our teeth just in case....

Coming back to this, just been over Jacob's Ladder and some very rocky descents and it worked perfectly Definitely impressed with the setup!

Put me down for one!

No this one is solid, I do know they changed the mount on the bottle recently though so maybe that was it?

Snoops commentary on the Tyson fight a few months back was absolutely legendary, way more entertaining than the actual fight!

Foam grips are amazing, otherwise I'd recommend a corn razor (can get from chemists) and pumice stone. My hands are constantly sore and getting hammered from pullup bars and that's what I use.

Not for my trials bike but some may find my question helpful. I've used a spoke calculator (https://www.prowheelbuilder.com/spokelengthcalculator) to find the lengths I need to build a pair of wheels up and came up with 292.8, 293, 293.8 and 294.1 so wondered what sizes I'm best ordering. Do i just round up and down and get half at 293 and the other half at 294? Or do I round down and go for 16 x 292, 32 x 293 and 16 x 294?

After having a play in the park this morning for the first time in months I reckon white will be a challenge

Nice, you coming down for the Derbyshire biketrial centre comp?
-
Oh I'm definitely not in it to be ranked, I reckon I'll be pushing it at black but we'll see

Welcome! Firstly the BB will be 68x128 most likely and I'm assuming square taper with it being Onza's budget bike (the general standard for trials is splined even though the rest of the bike world ditched it years ago!). If I'm honest I wouldn't bother upgrading the brakes, a well setup set of V's with decent pads (check out Tartybikes for a good selection) will be just as good as maguras and they tend to be a bit poorer when fitted with adapters for V mounts anyhow. Best practice would be to get the basics drilled and if you're sure you want to stick with it sell the bike and buy something with a better spec. The Onza Rip was always a budget beginners bike, no hydraulic brake mounts and a 20" rear wheel instead of the standard 19" so not really much point in spending too much on it other than to keep it rolling smoothly. If you decide to stick with a mod (20) then go for something with magura and/or disc mounts and a 19" rear wheel. Otherwise there's the 24" market (predominantly street trials based) or 26" (street trials or high BB seatless bikes) to move to.

f**king sellers on ebay, just won a pair of wheels, tyres, disc rotors and cassette for £130 which were for one of my sons bikes. Paid instantly on PayPal then saw a message saying not to as his account wasn't working so I cancelled the purchase. Only realised now that he didn't get what he wanted for the wheels so came up with a bullshit excuse to get me to cancel it. Cünt

Age categories confuse me, I might have a play as it's local but no idea what age I should be classing with

Not saying rear disc isn't good just that a mini isn't powerful enough for the rear
-
I wouldn't bother with a Mono mini on the rear, will be too under-powered anyway.

Cycle 2 work scheme has actually paid off for once, pair of Pro 4 boost hubs and a mudhugger for my On One has just cost £142

Hopefully watching this with the kids one night this week, not expecting greatness just entertainment!

Finally managed to get hold of a rim for my 24 that will take a rim brake at a great price, only been nearly 8 months. Now I just need to find a front to match because I'm a tart
