  1. I used to file down the top of the top brake clamp so the booster sits flat on top of it and use shorter bolts. That was my bodge using a TNN booster and Echo clamps.
  2. Thinking of knocking up an ultra budget jump bike for playing about on with my sons but I know f**k all about sizing and geo. Can anyone give me any info on what I should be looking for bearing in mind im 6'2"?
  3. Problem is the Premier League aren't interested in English Players. Out of a squad of 25 only 8 need to be "homegrown" which doesn't even mean English it just means they need to spend at least 3 years at an English club before they turn 21 (and they can be brought over when they turn 16). Of those 8 they don't have to field any so could potentially play a fully foreign squad. If you look at somewhere like Spain they have a rule that limits the number of non EU players in the squad to 5 and only 3 of those can be named in the team at any one time so more Spanish Nationals get to play.

Soooo I made a downhill racer from Colin Furze's book a few months ago with my son and now he wants a miniature version making for his toy dog (and so does his sister for her rabbit) so I've broken out the lolly sticks! Here it is so far, might have to make a few adjustments just waiting on some finger bikes to chop up and use for the wheels and front end!

    Covid19

Schools here are getting hammered as well. Currently got the whole of year 10 off isolating along with half of years 7 + 8. The kids don't give a shit though, one girl I know literally kicked off with her mates over a flow test because she wouldn't have it that you had to give them half an hour to show the results. Just chucked it in the bin and f**ked it off. And another girl who's the daughter of a friend tested positive on a flow test so got a proper test and went in to school while she waited for the results which then came back positive (which accounted for half of the year 10's off).

I got the text this morning to book my 2nd pfizer so I'm in 2 weeks tomorrow. Roll on 16th August and no self isolation!
  10. It looks nice I just don't understand the obscenely long stem... That and the chain looks like it needs a link or two taking out.
  11. We bought a shared ownership flat about 15 years ago, £120,000 value with a 50% purchase. Would definitely recommend especially if a new build as generally the price is only gonna go up, we sold ours after 3-4 years for £130,000 so only ended up with about £8ish grand profit but had I made some top up payments on the mortgage we'd have been well set to move onto a house. Definitely not worth buying more than 50% though as that makes it easy for other first time buyers to afford when you come to sell.
  12. As a man who's set to inherit 3 of the bloody things I'm quite happy on the overpriced thing
  13. Cheers bud, will have a crack myself at home
  14. Got a couple of eps files I could do with opening in photoshop and saving as high res png files if anyone can help? Would get the original designer to sort for me but he's away working for a few days so i can't get hold of him! They're for a spreadshirt tee design and they won't take eps files
  15. Somehow managed to remove the rear sprocket and fit a 13t so I could lose the tensioner. Slightly pointless as will be switching to a Pro 2 soon anyway and possibly swapping the front brake as this just rubs constantly...
  16. Yep, mostly 10* reviews on IMDB and well deserved. I pretty much binge watched it on Monday and Tuesday evening last week!
  17. Love how it goes from "needs to be a family wagon" straight into lowering it and sticking some wheels on

Mate of mine did exactly the same but he heated it with a log burner made from a washing machine drum, works an absolute treat too!
  19. I remember getting my 2011 Fourplay and it felt really low compared to the mk1. Could be making it up but I'm sure they lifted it again when they re-jigged the geo for the 2012 revision? Given the choice I much preferred the higher BB on the mk1 hence why I was after that or a zoot last year (and ended up with the Adamant)
  20. So no chance of a throwback OBM video then?!
  21. Then this pops up on my photo's memory for the day
  22. This also, I don't even ride my 24 but since selling the 26 I feel there's a distinct trials shaped hole in my bike collection......again......

My favourite commentary on the situation so far...
