  1. I'll delete my post for fear of upsetting someone
  2. Can't wait, me and the wife are goin. Got front row seats aswell, superb!!
  3. Right need more recomendations now for the rims, lookin at using either echo urbans or TR's depending on what will fit. Gotta nip down ma dads after work an have a measure up but was wondering; If I can fit an urban on the rear should I go for that or the smaller TR? Whats the main difference between the 2 as they're priced the same? Could I use a 37mm TR on the rear if I can't get a 40mm in as I used to ride with 30 odd mm Sunn BFR's?
  4. Might have to be the onza now as I've dug my rear maggy out of the garage from when I cleaned it up an the aluminium's gone all cruddy an horrible, so something else to add to the build list now!
  5. Yeah signaller, and before you ask I have no interest in trains whatsoever, just very well paid for doin nothin! Love it!
  6. Anyone use or used them? Just wondering as I'll be ordering my front and rear wheel builds tomorrow and as I want a fixed 6 speed rear I'll have to go with the onza anyway but I don't know whether to have a matching onza on the front or go for an Echo TR?? Opinions??
  7. What a glorious sunny Sunday morning. After braving the icey roads I'm now sat in my signal box doin absolutely nothing! Not only is it the quietest day of the week anyway, all my points are frozen up so no trains running through here in a hurry. May as well have a browse on tarty and plan my new wheel build for ordering tomorrow!

Grafting, hard, was on 6-2 chrimbo eve, boxing day, few days off now 2-10 yesterday, today an tomorrow, 8-8 sunday, 6-2 mon, tue and wed! Luckily it's big pay for tomorrow an boxing day so with next months pay I'll either be gettin more stuff for the bike, a lovely 4th gen Honda Civic or both!

Yeah but I'm just excited about ordering it! Well, as excited as respectable, married, 26yr old fathers of small children get!

Gutted that tarty aint takin phone orders till the new year! Dyin to spend my vouchers an get some wheels ordered, still everyone needs a break though. Roll on next week!!
  12. Merry christmas everyone, got £185 of Tarty vouchers so the bike build is on. Can hopefully get my wheels ordered now, just gotta wait for feb for some more to pay for the drivetrain, unless of course I get some OT at work in next few weeks (one lad off for hip replacement so good chance!)
  13. I'm going! The old man got me and my wife tickets for chrimbo, an he said danny is deffo the interval show so should be even better! Think last time I went was the 2nd time it was on years ago an Ot Pi was there!
  14. I know but Insurance is even worse on an import, I thought group 18 at 21yrs was enough for me. I know a lad who's got about 4 imports, put all good bits on 1 an uses it for trackdays an stuff. That is fast!
  15. I used to have one of those on my old Yamaha Majesty!!
  16. Finally got round to it, my other past Hondas! My Civic, Honda number 1 My baby, worst thing I ever did selling her. And that was my wifes opinion! Had an old Prelude as well, but don't know where my pics of that are!
  17. YES!! Love a bit of old skool. I myself am rebuilding a Heavy Tools Trials frame from the days of the Martins, hope the build goes well. If you decide to go for some IRC tyres I've got a set of Kujo's with quite a bit of tread left on if your interested. Gutted they don't make them anymore, Missiles and Kujo's were awesome trials rubber!
  18. Can either get a decent spoke key and try straightening it yourself or if your not sure best thing would be to take it to a bike shop and ask them to true it up for you, can always ask them for some advice on doing it while your there as well so you know if it happens again
  19. Not too bad, could have been complete write off!! At least it's only 1 corner
  20. Ray Parker Jr - Ghostbusters on local radio at the mo!
  21. Oh I!! Remember when I got my Rockhopper years ago and was stuck with V's for ages, were some cheapo Tektro ones but the front seemed to be awesome! Was runnin a HS22 on the back and V on the front for ages!
  22. Pain in the arse, can't see pics when I use works computer to look! And my iphone batteries dead too!
  23. Yeah people were running road cassettes when I started riding and short cage mechs off them, think that'll be the way forward now. Getting well annoying now though, keep reading the forum and checking out peoples vids and pics and just makes me wanna go out but bike won't be ready till at least christmas!!
