    Films!?

Thats a bit harsh don't you think?!
  2. Funny you should say that, I find the best way to make bike trials a piece of piss is have a session on a moto trials bike first! Everytime I got back from a trial or summat would have a play on my heavy tools and it'd be the lightest, easiest to do anything on bike in the world!
  3. Is a legend, hannahs cat that is!
  4. Too late, got validated in bout 3 minutes from signing up!!

    Films!?

It is, I think he deserves a week, no, a month in NMC for admitting that!
  7. Where's the button to "Like this post"??
  8. Tarty order just been dispatched? Lets hope so!!

  9. Ply it with lots of copper grease, the threads on a BB have a bit of thread lock pre applied when you get them so there should be no need. Besides, if it ever snapped you'd probably struggle a lot to get a thread locked one out!!
  10. A lot has changed since then matey so just have a good read around and you'll soon pick up on whats needed! Can I advise switching to single speed with a front freewheel, best thing I ever did! Oh yeah, welcome buddy!!
  11. Hannah's only here to tease us boys, not to ride trials! EDIT: Make that us men!
  12. WD40 The long term active ingredient is a non-volatile, viscous oil which remains on the surface, providing lubrication and protection from moisture. This is diluted with a volatile hydrocarbon to give a low viscosity fluid which can be sprayed and thus get into crevices. The volatile hydrocarbon then evaporates, leaving the oil behind. A propellant (originally a low-molecular weight hydrocarbon, now carbon dioxide) provides gas pressure in the can to force the liquid through the spray nozzle, then itself diffuses away. These properties make the product useful in both home and commercial fields; lubricating and loosening joints and hinges, removing dirt and residue, extricating stuck screws and bolts, and preventing rust are common usages. The product also may be useful in removing moisture. GT85 GT85 is a strong penetrating oil and will free rusted bolts, hinges, door and window gear. GT85 can be used in car maintenance and finishing. GT85 protects and lubricates and starts damp engines. It will protect paintwork, woodwork, vinyl, plastic and chrome. GT85 will ease cycle transmissions, bearings, hubs, brakes and cables and after the action, spray on after cleaning down for total protection, avoid your brakes of course! As found on the tinterweb!
  13. I've got a 34 stone black guy called Mabel and his 20 stone buddy Mo, they're all the protection I need!
  14. Does anyone actually fall for this crap? Why do they bother going through the hassle of signing up to put 1 spam message up?!!
  15. I'd just buy a frame and use what you've got to build it up. Things like the hope hubs could even be used on new builds with some trials specific rims, if not those wheelbuilds would easily sell on ebay for money towards new parts!
  16. Yep, may also qualify for a grant from the council if you play it right. Hope they put you in the right direction as I've wanted to go to that one at Barrow Farm but it's a bit of a trek from Buxton whereas if yours got the go ahead I could easily justify at least a couple of days a month, bet the local boys would be there quite often.
  17. Tunes that got listened to on the way to work; MOP - Ante Up (Remix) The Dan Band - Total Eclipse Of The Heart (live version) ----if you haven't heard these guys they are quality, as seen in the films Old School and The Hangover! 2 Unlimited - No Limits!
  18. If thats the case then I'd by the bike for £40 then get some maggies front and rear for it. 2 Evo adaptor kits is only £20 so probably worth the spend to have some decent brakes to start on which can be carried over when you get a new bike or frame in the future!
  19. I'm at the other end of Derbyshire but would make the odd trip down I reckon as some of my wifes family live in Ashby. To be honest, if your really after some advice on getting started up and what you would be needing you'd probably be best talking to the guys who run Essex Trials and Jump Centre at Barrow Farm down south, their website is here, worth giving them a ring or dropping an email for a bit of a heads up as it's basically the same kind of setup your planning. They only use 3 acres as well so I think you've probably got good potential for more than just trials sections, if you get hooked up with one of the trials clubs it could also become a venue for comps and stuff.
  20. I love it! Might get my cat signed up, she's awesome at balancing on fences. Saw her do a 8ft drop off once then 180 an jump back up! (when she saw a dog!)
  21. Try here, I've got a couple of the long sleeve adidas tech fit tops and they're great, especially when I go to the gym for a workout!
  22. Cause you don't get validated for asking, you should get validated for making good posts which either help people out or show true interest in a subject rather than someone posting in the hope of being validated. When I signed up I didn't care about being validated, just wanted to get my head round the forum, the parts available and learn about where cycle trials was at after being out of it for such a long time and before I knew it I was a full member. Just out of interest have you read the guidelines? Not having a go or owt just so you know! Why I gave you a vote from one of your earlier posts, then read another one tonight and tried voting again cause I forgot I already had done!
  23. I just can't understand why Onza bothered bringing out a mod with a 20" rear wheel, if anyone can enlighten me??
