  1. I'd agree, either get a hope or swap to a FFW setup. As for the Urban rims, what frame have you got? If you currently use sun rims on a dmr hub I'm assuming its not a recent trials frame??
  2. Yeah I know was using vegas for the first time and wasn't 100% sure what I was doin. If I get a chance tomorrow I might redo it and replace the link!
  3. Cheers, will get some decent pics of both tomorrow when I've got chain on the zoo with a proper camera an not my shitty iphone!
  4. Too right! Like it says in my profile if I could grow one! As if, 27 and still grow a beard like a schoolboy!
  5. Here's a very short vid of me messing about getting used to my zenith after not being able to ride it since I built it up on saturday thanks to the awful weather! Must admit it feels very nice to ride so should hopefully start improving a bit more now, although I've built up my mod this afternoon so that'll be getting a bit of attention now!
  6. Well happy, got my stuff for the python through from tartybikes this afternoon so I managed to get that built up today. Just gotta get the chain shortened as can't find the chain tool at my dads so will go at it with a grinder tomorrow and get that fittied to see how well she rides. Here's just a couple of pics I took in the stairwell, chucking it down outside so couldn't take em out there, only dodgy bit in my eyes is the white rear maggie with the lever upside down but it was bought as a temporary solution till I can afford a new one. Other than that I'm well happy, got a +20 adaptor for the front disc as well so just gotta decide which bike deserves the bigger brake!!

Thats a bit harsh don't you think?!
  10. Funny you should say that, I find the best way to make bike trials a piece of piss is have a session on a moto trials bike first! Everytime I got back from a trial or summat would have a play on my heavy tools and it'd be the lightest, easiest to do anything on bike in the world!

  16. Tarty order just been dispatched? Lets hope so!!

  17. Ply it with lots of copper grease, the threads on a BB have a bit of thread lock pre applied when you get them so there should be no need. Besides, if it ever snapped you'd probably struggle a lot to get a thread locked one out!!
  18. A lot has changed since then matey so just have a good read around and you'll soon pick up on whats needed! Can I advise switching to single speed with a front freewheel, best thing I ever did! Oh yeah, welcome buddy!!
  19. Hannah's only here to tease us boys, not to ride trials! EDIT: Make that us men!
  20. WD40 The long term active ingredient is a non-volatile, viscous oil which remains on the surface, providing lubrication and protection from moisture. This is diluted with a volatile hydrocarbon to give a low viscosity fluid which can be sprayed and thus get into crevices. The volatile hydrocarbon then evaporates, leaving the oil behind. A propellant (originally a low-molecular weight hydrocarbon, now carbon dioxide) provides gas pressure in the can to force the liquid through the spray nozzle, then itself diffuses away. These properties make the product useful in both home and commercial fields; lubricating and loosening joints and hinges, removing dirt and residue, extricating stuck screws and bolts, and preventing rust are common usages. The product also may be useful in removing moisture. GT85 GT85 is a strong penetrating oil and will free rusted bolts, hinges, door and window gear. GT85 can be used in car maintenance and finishing. GT85 protects and lubricates and starts damp engines. It will protect paintwork, woodwork, vinyl, plastic and chrome. GT85 will ease cycle transmissions, bearings, hubs, brakes and cables and after the action, spray on after cleaning down for total protection, avoid your brakes of course! As found on the tinterweb!
  21. I've got a 34 stone black guy called Mabel and his 20 stone buddy Mo, they're all the protection I need!
