  1. Just to warn you mate new members aren't allowed to sell on the forum till they're validated!
  2. It's funny you should say that, I did my zenith at work in my signal box which is really small so I opened all the windows to get rid of the fumes but there was no smell at all!
  3. Dont get it in your eyes if you wear contact lenses, its not good, trust me!
  4. I've used it for 3.1.3 on mine and few friends phones and it's worked fine. No good if you want to unlock to any network but I don't need that so nothing to worry about!
  5. Solo, only me, my cousin and another lad locally who ride. My cousins very defeatest so if he does ever come out and he can't pick something up very quickly he gives up so he hasn't been out for about 2-3 months. As for the other lad he's only just started and bought a mod but cause of the shift pattern I work I mostly ride in the day when he's working.
  6. Just so you know I wasn't advising GT85ing the Sl as it will void the warranty, was advising it on the Tensile of Trials Owns. Tensile ffw's are greased when new which tends to stick the pawls up and causes them to skip whereas the SL's are only thinly oiled. A good soaking complete or opened up should sort the Tensile out for you. As for the SL I gaurantee that tartybikes will say there's nothing wrong if you ring them as they are almost indestructable, I would have thought it is just down to the tightness of it!
  7. Have you flushed yours out with a bit of GT85?
  8. You might be able to get bits if you go straight to magura, could be worth a try? If not there's someone in for sale section who's got a load of magura spares, might have the bits for the job there!
  9. Was used by my best mate when he was smashed an tryin to chat a bird up who was stood with her boyfriend. When he said it the bf looked like he were gonna smack him an I just started pissin maself!
  10. I've got one of each and I'd say the SL feels better, the tensile's main plus point is the fact you can easily get spares to completely rebuild it although with the SL you'll never have to!
  11. Yeah I'm not trying to find who's got the lightest bike or owt just wondered what the average is. I'm more concerned about funcionality than anything, if it does the job for me it's perfect but I got the opportunity to weigh my mod so I thought I'd just see how it compares when I built it with no thought about lightweight components whatsoever!
  12. Both my shins are just recovering from being absolutley battered, ended up ordering some 661 veggie shinguards which make me look like a berk with shorts on but if they do the job it'll be worth it!
  13. Seems a bit weird that the dropout spacing is 116mm on a stock? Do any other manufacturers do that?
  14. Just swapped my dodgy standard hope 160 disc for a shiny 180 one off ebay!

  15. We still gonna try for a buxton ride sometime then?? Not sure what you'd be able to ride with no brakes though?!
  16. These are the best tips you'll get to be honest, just keep practicing hopping on the spot until you're comfortable with it and you find your balance. And the pedalling-braking by the martins on their tricks and stunts vid is probably the best way of learning to pedal hop forwards that I've seen. If you haven't seen the dvd have a search on amazon for it!
  17. Very nice, quality bit of kit for having a play if you've not got time the time/effort to go anywhere. Hope you don't mind but I'm gonna download that, very useful for watching in slow mo so I can pick up some tips on gaps to front an stuff like that!
  18. I must be doing something wrong, tried loads of different combos and couldn't find a thing! Cheers!!
  19. Just wondered what the average kind of weight is for peoples bikes on here? I know there's a few riders who are obsessed with keeping it as low as possible whereas some people concentrate more on strength, not checked my stock yet but weighed my Python yesterday and it came out around 11.3kg. Not sure if this is high or low but it was built more as a starter bike to take some hammer so I wasn't that concerned at the time but in the future I'll probably look at lighter parts when things break or need upgrading. What does yours weigh?

Damn thats a cow, can't you ride in the rain? I'm sure if you have a maggie it will cope, but i'm keeping my fingers crossed that this rain is going to let up. Check on accuweather.co.uk to see if the rain is going to stop where you are man

No so much the rain that bothers me it's the fact all the walls an stuff round here get slippy as hell when they're wet so can't do anything!
