  1. Got some of the higher rise zoo bars on my stock which will be goin on this when I get some bits sorted for that.
  2. Goin Leeds on Friday for a stag do! It will get messy!!!

  3. You're best starting on a 20", probably an onza for your first bike but don't get a rip! The rear wheels on the rip are 20" compared to 99% of other mod bikes which run 19" rear wheels which make it extremely hard if you want to keep the bike and upgrade it! How much money you lookin at splashing out on your first bike?
  4. Oh yes, need loads of height on that front end!
  5. There's loads of factors which make each individual thing different. Depends on the run up to the object, how high it is, how much room there is on top, what you plan on doing when you get onto it, what you in particular are best at doing, the list goes on. I personally tend to find if it's something quite high, say 3ft+, I try to bunnyhop up if the run ups right whereas lower things I'll probably try and half pedal up. Though I haven't had any practice really at sidehopping up stuff or backhopping to front and wheel transfering so I have to stick with my strong points currently. Just do what feels right for you and the object at hand!
  6. Not to fix them on no, there should be some allen head bolts on the inside of you frame dropouts that they push upto to tension the chain though.
  7. Sorry I can't watch vids at work so assumed it'd show you how to fit them as well as adjust them. To fit them you simply remove the bolts off the end of the hub axle and slot one on each side then fit the wheel into your frame with the cams in the inside of the dropouts in most cases. Should look like this on your hub Does that help? PS Sorry for hijacking the thread MR2K9!
  8. Just had a play 1/2 pedalling up a dry stone wall, well hard to keep your balance on uneven rocks!

  9. Think it be new BB time mehewd!
  10. At work 8-7 today and I've literally got nothing to do whatsoever!

  11. Finally happy with my mod!

  12. Right now I've got my back brake replaced on the python I can finally say she's finished and I'm happy with it. Sorry bout the dodgy quality of the pics but I'm at work and my proper camera's battery has died so it's iphone all the way! Hopefully if we get a sunny day this week I'll get some proper pics done. Frame, bars, brakes and cranks are all 2nd hand but everything else is new. Leave a comment if you wanta full spec of it!

    Mod Chain

I've just adjusted the chain on my python as it was drooping quite bad underneath but I'm not 100% sure if I've done it up too tight?! I can still move it if I touch it lightly with my fingers but it's not quite loose enough to flap on my stays which was really doing my head in before, is this too tight?
  14. 12 hour shift today, gutted as would have loved to have ridden Bracken Rocks! Not competed for 10 years!!

  15. Whoever invented the dremel is a genius and should be aptly rewarded!

Bollocks was it. It clearly says on the packet 'manufactured by Revolver ltd'. Rewards are welcome...

  16. Would have thought so, they're very good at stuff like that! Besides, it helps them out with their development when they recieve something thats broke as they properly assess them to stop it happening in the future from what I've been told.
  17. How come the left dropout thingy looks straight and the right one has a big bend welded on near the BB??
  18. Looking good mate, take it she rides well? Will be expecting another video now! What Zoo! bars are they as well? I've got 2 pairs, some low risers on my mod and high, or should that be, not quite as low risers on my stock.
  19. Well I robbed my dads dremel and went at it and I think it should be ok, stuck a new lever blade in as well and tightened it up so it doesn't wobble anymore and gave it a water bleed. Will hopefully get it back on the bike tomorrow and tested, will see what all this water bleed nonsense is about!!
  20. Sadly can't watch video's as they're blocked at work so just stuck it in the sink with some warm water and it's definately filled with oil! Got it everywhere and had to clean the sink out so will do it again with some water with washing up liquid in and maybe once more after that then bleed it properly with just water and see how it goes! All a learning curve for me as I've never even bled a brake before! EDIT: Just finished it, flushed it in warm water first then another good flush in warm soapy water then bled it with a fresh bowl of cold water. Wasn't too bad I reckon and it feels very responsive already, though I won't know properly until I get it on my bike. Hopefully if it's not busy at work tomorrow I'll have time to fit it and test it though just pulling it on its own when I let go of the levers the pistons fly back into the cylinders with a bit of a bang, hope they're supposed to do that!!
  21. Can anyone tell me the best way to flush out my maggie? Just bought one 2nd hand which is cracked so I thought while I'm sorting the crack out I'll try a water bleed, as I'm at work and got nothing better to do, but I'm not sure what it's currently bled with so I assume it's oil and will need a good flush out first. I tried a search but couldn't really come up with anything specific to my question although I did find this quality quote!
  22. If your not happy then cancel it and stick with the Onza if I were you!

    New Video

I found the vid far too dark, couldn't see half of it but the stuff I saw was good, keep it up!
  24. Nice one, will be stealing my dads dremel and doing it at work today, may as well try a water bleed while I'm at it!
