Thing is he's got Windows XP Pro at the moment, would it let him downgrade the OS to XP Media Center? Also I swear there was this thing when using Windows Media Connect that check the validity of your OS etc. Well we'll see how it works out anyways, if we dont hear from Joe again assume its not worth trying Olly.

The new Deng factory stuff seems to be pretty top drawer strenght-wise. Most of the Echo frames I've always loved, ES1 white with blue dragons EM1 in white, Pures, Teams, Controls, HiFi's the new CNC'd up frames. They seem to be proving themselves in the strenght department now so I've finally opted to splash the cash on a Team, hopefully it won't disapoint Olly.

If you have a slimline you need to send off for your network access disk from Sony (should be with manual etc) If you have a old fat one you need to find a place that still sells Network adapters. You need an ethernet cable and a broadband internet connection but online play is free. Any more questions post again, Olly

Core = £209.99 Premium = £279.99 They play all 360 games and limited original xbox games. (updated so more will be playable) Media-wise they play DVD's Music CD's etc with alot of stuff streamable from PC. Playable online for a yearly subsciption of £39.99 inc headset, or however cheap you can find it. Games RRP at £44.99-£49.99 obviously amazon etc cheaper still.. Hard to find right now as theres not enough supply for demand, should be fine after xmas, if your a casual gamer just wait abit until more games are out and the systems are freely available Olly.

I haven't really been going off trials, I just don't seem to have much free time to ride. BUT when I do its the same with all you guys, the same spot I've been riding for 3 years, no-one at all to ride it with, not much new stuff to try, and I've had some very near harsh falls recently. None of this de-motivates me because I still just love being a part of the trials scene, I just spent another £400-ish on bike stuff even with all the problems I mentioned. I did get driven to ride bmx because my friends said they'd like to ride it, so mondays and stuff I've been going to a local park and its pretty fun, different. Luckily even though my bmx is top spec it just feels so nasty, heavy and short in comparison to my trials bike that its hard to think up and do the cool tech street stuff I think up when riding trials, I don't know whats wrong on my bmx, possibly the frame in some ways I don't mind the weight it just feels a horrible ride most of the time One thing I've personally found is that if you in the same position as me, small local places to ride alone with not much chance of making it to group rides as you have no transport and its so far away the train costs $$$, that having a long "go-big" frame like a Python/Pitbull or frame along those lines that I find it harder to do the little things that make trials fun, so I've opted to get a slightly shorter frame so I can bounch and jump about easier. If you have a bike thats maybe shorter and fun to ride then you can try adopt the TrialNoir style of riding instead where it doesn't matter if your on huge group rides pulling the biggest moves you can enjoy yourself with the little things you accomplish. Thats my opinion anyway. Olly.

Yay got it sorted! :- Just had to go to Zones in the Firewall setting and add the 360's IP Address, restarted and allowed the folders and jobs a good'un (Y)

Thats the stuff I need open, how do I do that? The Media Function can do loads ....if you have Windows Media Center on your PC but with just XP Home you can view photos and music (theres a big list of file types doesn't seems to be that limiting) So yea thats the stuff I need open, any ideas on how to do it?

Well I've finally got media connect working between my 360 and my PC with Windows XP SP2 and I can view pics and listen to music through it. BUT this is only possible with ZoneAlarm (free one) totally off, as soon as I turn it on it stops the music and stuff then doesn't allow you to read the folders etc. Im running the whole lot through a Router (non-wireless) so theres that to consider too. I need that port opening thing, or something, if someone could search up what to unlock how to do it and get back asap I'd much appreciate it, this thing is getting me so angry because I cant remeber how to do it and I cant remeber the site that said what things to do (Y) Cheers Olly

Will do (Y) Yea when you first turn it on it has 11GB free as its loaded with a few videos and an album, you never get the full 20GB though like on 1GB Memory Stick Duo's you only get 940mb of it. I want a LCD HDTV :- I've got a 28" Flat CRT atm as no large CRT would fit in my room :) ahwell its not that bigger deal (not £1299's worth of a deal to me anyways) although they are sexy as hell :D Olly.

So did you get this thing setup? I've got Windows Home with this Windows Media Connect thing installed from the link provided on the 360: The thing seems to be setup all fine and dandy and its marked Allowed, but I cant seem to find my PC through my 360 any ideas? Cheers Olly

Well I got my Premium Pack from the Game where I work, £251.99 on discount :ermm: Also got my plug and play charge kit, Perfect Dark Zero Collectors Edition and Project Gotham Racing 3. Most retailers struggled to fill there paid pre-order deposits, with our company most stores got there full allocation (which was very lucky) and then a few core systems to sell first come firsat served (we got 10 units) with our company there was always no garantee to get one before xmas and all customers were told this, turns out we pretty much did get every in-store system so all was well, if not full refunds on deposits was always available at any point. Gamestation however were not so luck and only filled 35 of there 60+ paid deposits, another inderpedant store told people that even though they've paid the full £280 deposit (instead of Games £20) that they were only allowed to sell them (told from Microsoft) with £400's worth of software :ermm: thats utter tripe and they should of been able to buy the system alone and whatever games or accessories they wanted. Online stores were obviously flooded with pre-orders and were easier to fend off customers as theres no chance of an in-store punch up etc with angry customers. The stock levels are being hyped up stupidly as usual by the media, The retailers magazine tells us that most stores will be recieving shipments weekly on systems and to expect no long term shortages although obviously the supplies will be limited each shipment due to the massive demand. Well Im off to play mine now, hopefully its all well and good :lol: Olly.
