Opinion On First Trials Bike
Tom Dunwoody replied to Birmingham Trials Rider's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
The way i've done it is save up for a nice bike that you know is nice but other people don't and buy that, because then you will get a really nice bike but because it hasn't got flashy pink rims or that then there will be a less chance of someone stealing it. I would suggest an onza of some sort but check the weight because weight is a killer. I would suggest getting an onza T-pro or an onza pro there isn't much difference really, the only differences that they have is that the onza T-pro has a longer wheelbase[length of frame basically]and the onza pro has onza dual pull cable disc brakes which personally, i haven't tried myself. There are other bikes in the range like the Onza Blade or the Onza Comp but they are very expensive and for that money i would look for another make of bike, like Echo or Koxx You can easily check the specs on either the Onza website or Tarty bikes. P.S. I would have given you links to these but i haven't quite figured out how to post links yet. Sorry for that. Hope this helps. -
How come? Just think about the publicity for the sport it would be massive[hopefully] because if it gets put into big game stores, then people are going to notice it. Also it would be enjoyable when you can't trials ride like on a rainy day or if you bikes broken.
-
yeah i guess
-
Yes, but think about the audience that this will entertain. I mean come on, if it was raining and you didn't want to ride then what would you rather do, be bored out of your brain or play on an awesome game that feeds the need for trials biking.

I'll give you credit for that, that was pretty cool and i really like your bike. Keep riding mate. -
If this turns out as not the right solution then i would suggest get a whole new BB, because it seems like you've tryed everything. Hope this helps.

Thats a really cool video. Nice bike aswell. How long did it take you to build that trial park? Thanks.
-
That is what would make it so fun. To learn how to master the game.

Hi, I was wondering if a Gu TP frame is too big for me because, I'm 1.40m which is about 4ft 10 and the the frame's wheel base is 1030mm so i'm not quite sure! Thanks

The main things that are a problem in the rain are: >slippery brakes >less grip on obstacles (depends on what material you are riding on) >natural trials (I personally dont ride natural trials as that requires lots of grip) solutions: >get a fresh grind on your brakes >only ride on materials which make the most out of the grip of your tyres >Dont ride natural trials until your sure that you can do that line. Hope this helps
