  1. my tryall wasnt very good. oh and does anyone know whats the best tyre to have for skids?? i want the best skid sound, cheers
  2. right almost every ride or 2 rides my drive side crank arm comes loose, ive tried locktight but still does it after a bit, the splines on bb dont look worn niether does the crank arm, is this common due to force aplied on that side arm, or is there minimal wear on the crank arm causing this to wor loose? when nipped up its rock solid, no play etc. cheerz guys
  3. whats a fair going rate for a very little used front setup 180mm, and also front and rear used a fair bit but good cond? thanks guys
  4. ive found a hairline crack right under the crown on the forks, barely visable as there powder coated. wow that could of been bad if i was actually good at trials and landed something big.
  5. ive tried 3 diff rotors one wavy on at mo brand new from tartys, one normal and one with hardly any holes, all the same only when little presure on lever if you brake hard its ok. thought id ask incase anyone had same as its doing my swede in. it wasnt doing before then started. cheers
  6. i was thinking that there was a crack maybe apearing, il check tom, they seem ok but cant see any marks on the paint.
  7. have a bit of judder under med braking on my stock, ive checked and nowt is loose, re aligned caliper same, new disc same, any ideas as it drives me mad? thanks guys
  8. got an onza blade just changed the stem and bar combo but sadly it doesnt leave any room for stackers and feels poop, was going to upgrade the standard heavy cromoly forks anyhows any sugestions on a decent fork for the blade, disc and light idealy, was thinking echo or ko etc? i presume there all the same fitment i just need a long steerer. cheers
  9. i had a go on a because 24 it felt great, had the big bike feel of a stock but the flick and easy to chuck about as a mod. id get one deffo loved it
  10. ah ok im the other end kent ish side but dont mind a drive if it will help my skillz, as im a beginer and cant seem to progress ive hot the writers block lol.

  14. hi its the 09 flat bar was afetr the geo of the stem is the new 2010 the same geo stem but lighter? im gona get riser bars for him as the flat ones are horrid
  15. mate got a blade recently, had a little go and it feels horrid. it has the standard bar and stem combo they come with, any other riders recomend a decent geo stem and bars or are you riding standard setup? cheers
  16. mate of mine wants to get into trials on a 20" but looking at a few can you guys tell me the order of decent spec hes lookit at 3 onzas the blade the pro and the rip, im sure the rips the basic cheapy but whats the better bike out the pro and the blade? both frames look same but spec diferent? all bikes are 2008 ish hes looking at used, thanks

  18. lol been building wheels for yonks now matey just wondered if its the norm for them to buckle a lot as my dh and jump bikes get hamered and they stay strong for ages. not a mad buckle mind but im a fussy fooker, if its the norm then its all cool and il carry on, im still very bangy on my pedal ups etc so maybe i gota learn skillz
  19. how long do you guys rear rims last for? im still a novice on stock but seem to buckle the rears pretty fast and then flaten them off within a few months, am i just riding to hard / clumbsy or is it normal for them to buckle a tad over a few months? cheeeeerz
  20. cheers guys i got frame and forks like this, im still learning so still slamming stuff about so il wait till it gets tatty them get it coated in orange or turquoise with black forks then. first chris king hub ive had and it feels/sounds great. hope i can get back into it as been off for too long with injuries.

  24. yep true matey i used my mythic for xc bimbles and some freeriding, ive a brooklyn machine works for the proper big stuff but the mythic does most of it very well. if you buy cheap it will break if you use it what there intendid for. loads of good bikes out there but get decent parts as if you need to replace odd bits then it gets expensive. happy riding
