  1. Is it me, or is his disk on the wrong side of the hub?, well the rotor is on the right side, instead of the left (correct) side of the forks?
  2. It is, its thinner and feels like a water bleed, but it also protects the brake, win win and also you can get mouthwash in many different colours, so you can see easily if you have a leak
  3. running braided too they just protect your from splitting your hoses, worth it for a crossover, not main hose though
  4. Dont let your dad know what u bleed your brakes with then? try mouthwash though, its really good
  5. Mouthwash is better than using water, its thinner so the brake reacts faster , and it protects the seals and hoses, unlike water
  6. Amazing again! Well done lad
  7. mouthwash and/or distilled water
  8. Do you have the standard magura pads? Maybe a new set of decent pads would help the bite and power, i recommend any heatsink pads Also bleed your brake with water and it will feel a lot better
  9. The Limey is great but the comp has around the same geo as the limey, it rides better, and its a lot cheaper. So why use a £400 frame that im going to dent n scratch up everywhere, when i can use a lighter and less than half the price alternative which rides better anyway? EDIT: i do still have the limey built up (need rear wheel) and i am going to use it from time to time, but probably only for comps.
  10. Keep front mag and get some decent pads, it will always be better than a disk
  11. the bars are 29'' so quite big, but not too big. and i like to have my bars tilted slightly more forward so that makes them look bigger too
  12. Got this built up yesterday, having to use and old rear wheel and tyre as i got my new wheel built and realised i forgot to buy a new sprocket for it other than that its just about how i want it, and im loving it, so nice to ride all comments welcome.
  13. Hey, I have been using a rear onza sealed disk hub on my Limey320, But the axle snapped while riding today, and i have had the problem with other onza hubs too so, What other hubs will actually fit?, as i have been told some don't, and what would you all recommend? Thankyou
  14. Me and a few others are going to head down, about 4 of us i think
  15. Yeah, i cant get there tomorrow, im going down to ESTC though, just outside Leicester for a ride. Its just done the M69 if you want to come down some time
  16. Hey, I have had this since late December time, and i have recently changed from double maggy so i thought i would post this up with the new parts. All comments welcome Paul.
  17. Pads: Heasink Yellows in Rockman CNC backings Time used: 2 Months Rim used: Onza Pro Series Square Grind: Yes Brake used: Magura 05 , water bleed What is you opinion of a working brake: Good bite, Better Hold How do they compare to previous pads: Alot better, compared to most other pads, rockman and TNN. Review: with a booster the hold is amazing it just wont slip, even in the wet, sound is really good too. Without a booster the bite is immense, but the hold is not quite as good but still efficient, recommend these to anyone!
  18. finally back to double disk :)

  19. What kind of frame are you looking for? Comp frame? Long frame? Price range? Personally i would say the 2010 Onza Comp for value and quality. it rides extremely nicely, street and natural.
  20. I am definitely going to get the Avid SD7 lever as they are amazing value for what they are! thankyou for the reply i love the hold on vees so i am definitely going for one if anyone else has any good set ups please share
  21. Hi, i snapped both my 05 magura levers today (in one move! ) so i have decided to try a front Vee, and invest in an old 04 magura lever for the back.. I am looking for ALOT of hold and a decent amount of bite/sound, but also not to go crazy on spending. So what are everyone's opinions on the best set up? pads, calipers, levers, cables ect. Cheers, Paul
  22. Im liking 'Crystal Castles' at the moment, and i agree it is alot easier to ride along too but anything from Dubstep and Drum and Bass to soft smooth flowing rock and chilled out music is good
