Brilliantly done Mark, top work! If only it wasn't in the middle of my exams, would have loved to have been able to make it. With another few years experience and tad more bike control Nico could really be giving Carthy a run for his money, they both seem to improve at an unbelievable rate!

If memory serves me there wasn't one last year and maybe even the year before which i think is pretty poor. The last one i went to might have been around 2011 and the turnout was no way near that of previous years. So i thought it best we start getting one organised early so that it has the best chance of getting as many riders involved as possible! Bristol being the location because it was his favourite place to ride i believe? (someone correct me if not). I can't remember who used to organise them but I'm sure it used to be mid September around Beau's birthday kind of time, not sure on the exact date. Saturday the 12th and Sunday the 13th seems like the obvious weekend to choose, but its up to debate and whether a bigger turnout could happen on another weekend. Unfortunately due to Facebook a large amount of the trials community doesn't come on here anymore and won't see this, so if people could spread word maybe make an event or something along the lines of that to get more people involved that would be awesome! Seems a real shame to just forget about it.

I don't think anyone in history has suited a bike more than that!

Really wanted to have a go at this as the riding is so shit in my area i usually end up just messing about on the kerbs outside my house, unfortunately throat surgery has bed bound me so it doesn't look like i'll be able to get one in, good luck to all that have managed!

Good to see the full thing Aronn, some awesome stuff in there! Hopefully see you again next year!

It's not weird, I'm not a fan of riding in front of massive crowds or anything like that, each to their own you know, people are just quick to make assumptions sometimes. Fair play for putting it back up dude, it is a good little video!
-
Maybe he does it for the same reason he refuses to meet up with other riders when over here and chopping frames into pieces for no good reason, social problems/recluse of some sort? Seems to be the only feasible explanation unless it is simply because he is a utter tit.

Knew i should have downloaded the Vimeo link before it was taken down. Really good to see a proper length video, some cool lines in there!

I've got some cheap Wilkos gloves which are awesome, lasted years as well! Cost me about £7 if i remember correctly

Theres a few people around Cov and some in Brum too but the numbers are dwindling, a couple in Leicester too but I'm not sure how often they are around. I live local to Cov at the moment but i'll be moving to Devon next month

Massive trials lines and executed in the smoothest way possible! Not a correction hop in sight It's as close as you can get to trials videos of old and that gets a huge thumbs up from me

Really enjoyed that!

You guys seem to be the only people moving trials forward. As for the name, trials has been littered with some terrible branding in the past and this isn't any way near the worst I've seen. If its a top quality pure trials bike you're after you may as well just get over it and buy one as you'll struggle to find anything better on sale at the moment. Plus, i'd say the reasons for the low sales in the UK is because the scene is near enough dead as appose to people not being fond of the names. That said, I'm not sure i would ever buy any '#hashtagg' parts purely because of embarrassment. It's not exactly subtle either with the brand name plastered on any and every blank space available.

Not necessarily shorter as a lot of people used to favour the long model frames over the short when there was a choice between the two (deng frames for the most part) The lower bb is the bigger factor, i understand the need for as much clearance as possible when riding sections and natural all the time as you don't want to clip anything and gain points. However, in a city centre when you're riding nothing but walls it really isn't needed. It has also killed taps which is a massive shame as it used to be such a big part of the scene! TAP, gap, sidehop... It could just be me though as in pretty much every aspect of life I'm more into where we have come from than where we are going (cars, music, etc.)
-
I have to disagree, if anything it has pretty much killed the tgs scene.

Got to be the most stylish comp rider out there! He must also be the only one to still run a 'traditional' sized stock stem instead of the 150x30 stem for the masses
-
Was the full video for this ever released? It's something i would be very interested in seeing, came across the video again today after seeing it a few years ago and sparked my interest

Spoke tensioner is pretty sh*t, loses the little tension it has after about 10 mins or so, got a proper one coming in the next few days. Tried a link less too, just snapped the chain when putting it on! Rides mint though, much nicer than the more modern rigs i've had
-
More pictures added, the new bars are going to be black so i may try out just silver forks, stem and wheels for now and raw the frame when it gets a bit more bashed and scratched up
-
Grind your rims and the cranks won't stand out as much. Looks sweet either way if you ask me.

What are they like reliability wise?

Just got myself a cannibal to replace my inpulse, but it is the first frame i have fad with vertical dropouts and I'm in need of a tensioner. I've heard the best is the Rohloff however I'm not sure it fits my hub? (Echo TR 135mm) There is a echo tensioner that is designed to work with this specific hub and doesn't connect to the mech hanger http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/sprung_tensioners/echo_sprung_tensioner/c48p10600.html Or do i go for the likes of a trialtech sprung tensioner that does connect to the hanger? Any words of wisdom appreciated. Cheers, Paul.

Picked this up today off Bigman for an incredibly reasonable price, decent nick too. Not got a tensioner yet and threw it together in half an hour before getting back to revision, more pictures to come! Spec: Frame - Ozonys Cannibal V1 (1075-80ish +30-35 the rest is unknown as i just did a quick measure before building) Forks - Echo Urban 2014 Bars - Rickman high rise (creaking massively) Stem - Trialtech high rise 130x25 (may change for the normal 120x17) Headset - mash up of many, fsa/generic lightweight cups Front Wheel - Clean rim laced onto K2 hub - Shift Rear Wheel - Rockman rim laced onto Echo TR hub - Single ply high roller BB - Trialtech sport Cranks - Zhi with Echo ffw Brakes - 05 maguras with racing line pistons - original cousts Considering rawing either the frame or the forks. I quite like the old lettering so i may just do the urbans and put my smaller silver stem on to match. Few more snaps after i managed to get a spoke tensioner to work for now (sort of) changed the stem too, rides spot on! Just ordered myself a proper tensioner and some new bars as i found a crack in these as i suspected when swapping the stems over.
