  1. Yeah fits perfect, don't even need to use the tensioners much as the chain is pretty much tight at the start of the dropout. Sorted it now, working good just needed to tamper with the spacers. Well on my mod I was getting 6 pallets to rear but only at a push, after my first 20mins on this I was pissing it every time. It really is perfect, not too big but not too small.
  2. Not keen on them really, thought I'd put it on as they are generally more practical but I like Maguras because of the insane bite/hold you get, and that you get freely spinning wheels. And the disk is rubbing and squeaking (which is mainly the bit that annoys me) at the moment so will need to get it set up properly. But I'm definitely going to give the disk a try for a week or so, see what I think, maybe it will grow on me.
  3. Bit of an update, after riding this for the past 3 months or so i can say for sure it is the best riding bike i have ever owned. Its stupid how fast and by how much i have improved since i got it. Anyway i went front mag after bout a week of riding it as i just cant put up with disks, a few other changes too, different bars, pads, removed frame stickers etc. Sorry about the awful quality photos, taken on my phone, will get some better ones tomorrow And my Limey that i built for fun out of all my old Mod parts Old pics: Spec. 4. Its just a few skips, my TrialTech does the same constantly too, doesn't fuss me too much any more, but I would replace it when you have some spare cash
  5. Doesn't it say 8.59? but for the weight of the frame that's not too bad
  6. Also what are you using as a downtube protector?
  7. Well I've got the TrialTech 108 (which is basically the same) and mine did exactly that, skipped a lot when new but not as much now. Still skips like a b*tch constantly though.
  8. Improved loads again mate, hope to see you Saturday
  9. The newest colours clash quite a bit, looks a bit strange. But the bike itself is ace!
  10. How do you find those forks? (Bit too late to ask seeing as I've already ordered them) But oh well
  11. We will be there all day if you get a break at some point mate
  12. Just ordered mine! Can't wait!
  13. Hey guys, just ordered myself a new bike and fancy testing it out on some natty. Adam found this spot a while back and it really is great, loads and loads of grippy smoothish rocks. And there is a similar rock formation just over a small valley. Its on the 'Fiddlers Elbow' (road name) just to the east of Hathersage. Will find it on google if needs be. I'm getting the train at either 7,30 or 8,30, so will be there about 10-11. Can give a number if needed. Anyone up for it? Cheers, Paul.
  14. That looks sweet! Really want to get me one of these! Also are the Echo graphics stick on or etched on?
  15. The new pics look better, But the tubes are very strange. Looks okay
  16. Just gives the brake some more hold/bite (thats what I've found on my mod) and I'm looking to build up a 'proper' trials comp style 24'' so the inspired forks aren't really what I'm looking for.
  17. Are the Because forks the only rear facing mounted 4Bolt forks you can buy? They look okay, but I've heard they wont hold up to long. Are they okay? Or does anyone know of any better ones? They must have rear facing 4bolt mounts, Cheers.
  18. That would be why then, basically all frames crack at welds. I'm guessing the guessets near the headtube?, just like the Coust does.
  19. Well, for one your links don't work, And secondly, What do you expect from a trials bike? Non of them are going to last great periods of time, my latest frame only lasted 5 or so months. Just get on with it really, you have to except that in this sport parts will inevitably break. I'm surprised frames last as long as they do anyway!

    Limey

There was a small crack at the bash mount (didn't know til after), Did a frenchie as I went to the back wheel, the frame made a really loud bang. Had a look after being thrown over the bars, and the frame was completely bent.
