I supposed a longer bike would be more comfortable than some stupid short bike for a tall person, but Mark who's like 8'7 or something used to ride a mod with a sub 1000mm wheelbase, so it can't be all that important. But yeah, shorter frames are usually more associated with more streety style riding.
