  1. Hello. So, I decided to make a short video. The footage is recorded with Canon HF200. Some clips are a few weeks old, where I ride the Echo Pure, and a few with the Koxx Foxx frame. Some clips with my riding mate Øyvind. (I'm the tall, thin guy). I've been riding for a short two months now, so my style isn't so smooth yet, but I'm working on it. Anyways, I hope you like it. http://vimeo.com/7626499
  2. Thanks for the comments guys. I think it looks pretty nice myself. Can't decide whether I like to ride it or not though. Might be that I need some more time with it.
  3. So, yesterday I received a nifty little package from TartyBikes; The new Koxx Foxx frame. The last couple of weeks I've been rebuilding my wheel with a SL front hub, since my former one broke. Also repainted my rims white, as well as the fork, handlebar and stem. Got the bike up running today after some problems with snailcams, chain length and brake positioning. Specification list: Frame: Koxx Foxx Fork: Echo Sl Rear wheel: Echo TR screw on hub, Echo TR rim, Sapim spokes, Continental Rainking 2,5" Front wheel: Echo SL hub, Echo Tr rim, Sapim spokes, Kenda Stick-e 2,35" Rear brake: Echo TR, TNN with alu. backings and a Echo 2screw booster. Front brake: Shimano disc break with a 203mm rotor. Handlebars & stem: Trialtech Bottom bracket: BIS Cranks: Echo Forged ISIS Freewheell: Echo SL 108 Pedals: Cage pedals Grips: Trialtech foams Headset: Echo SL Chain: KMC k810 kool Cog: Echo TR Screw on Tubes: Maxxis DH Rim tape: Try All black. Chain tensioner: Echo TR snailcams. I haven't had the chance to ride it for more than a couple of hours, but it feels really good. I'll report more after tomorrows ride
  4. Talking about the rear sprocket btw, not the freewheel. Anyways, I guess it's the same methods used? Will try!
  5. Hi, I can't get my sprocket off. Is there a trick? /Jan Tore.
  6. Nice video. Some really technical riding there. But what a freak commenting at the end..
  7. Well, problem is that I can't really tighten the nipples up to much before all of the spokes are in the rim. Whilst putting the spokes in, the hub and rim are moving, which causes movement in the nipples.
  8. Hi. So, I built my first wheel today. It came out pretty good, apart from the fact that it needed a lot of adjusting afterwords. Is there something I can do to prevent the nipples from turning whilst building the wheel? /Jan Tore
  9. I've just bought one, so you'll hear from me when I've got to try it at least. Looks good at least, and has a nice geo.
  10. That's just pretty amazing!
  11. Of course not. He's probably waiting for it, and was wondering if it was a good purchase..
  12. I'm riding a short(1070) Pure 09. Although I can't compare it to anything, it feels very agile. I'm 6"2 myself, and it seems to be just fine. I think I'd buy a longer frame next time though. But for now, it's all fine.
  13. Killer quality and riding. What cam. did you film with? Wide angle lens? /Jan Tore
  14. Hello guys. I recently broke my front hub, and a new one is on it's way to me, together with some spokes. Question is then, how do I build it? Any guide around? /Jan Tore Edit: Found the wiki guide.
  15. Why don't you sandblast it?
  16. Alrighty. Going for the yaabaa then. Any ideas for colour matches? (Rims, and other accessories/parts).
  17. Thought the same, looks very nice.
  18. So, I'm about to buy a new frame, but need some input on the quality of the ones I'm considering. I'm going for a pretty long frame, and like all of these. But which would I be better off with? Mostly doing TGS and Natural.
  19. Thanks for that one, will try! I can see that working.
  20. I mean, really tight. I jumped on it until it made a "tight enought" noise. Just like when you use your foot to tighten up a car wheel.
  21. I had the same problem with my brand new bike. Thing I did was to take the crank all of, clean a bit, and the put it back and tighten it as hell with a pipe.
  22. Good riding. Still think you missed that last one there thought
