  2. I got told to just learn trackstanding until I can hold it for about 30 seconds or more, after that you start to learn the basics like bike control and then hopping and such. As somebody already said, TrashZen.com is an amazing website to go for help. Adam
  3. I don't believe thats legal in the UK
  4. My area of Nottingham, yes it is that rough. Seriously, My house is one of two that have a council estate behind them, leave anything in your garden even and it will be robbed. If I do a ride it'll probably have to be after next week as I start back at school a week on thursday. Got my rig finished, just been out on it but its a bit hot, might move it onto the drive so I have more balance rather than grass.
  5. Worst I've done so far is slipped off the pedal and made my leg bleed slightly, so now I wear shinpads. Bingo Bango.
  6. East midlands, thinking about trying to get a ride sorted, maybe not though. I've started my rig, but rains stopped play so I've only got a picture of it half finished. Hopefully it stops raining soon.
  7. When I helped to do them on my friends bike it was tedious. From looking at that guide that's the best way to do it. Oh and don't wear your best clothes, it can get messy.
  8. Right, I'll be thinking about that then, I'll build these two pallets up together and post pictures of my findings.
  9. That would be an option, but I'd need to be in a group of my friends which isn't possible all the time, due to fear of my bike being stolen which, in my area, is a high possibility. However, I'll try and get my friends together and we'll get to the streets. I'll get a bus timetable too, so I know when to move out the way. Edit; I've managed to get another pallet, so I'll halve it and build up so my rig will have two levels. I may also add a small ramp onto the lower level to aid me while I learn to trackstand on an incline, then I'll take the ramp off at a later date. Anyone made a rig like this? If I do make this I'd be able to get a group of my friends together and we'll drag it to the local park's car park for a bit.
  10. At the moment I need the smaller things such as pallets and small platforms. I reckon the highest I could get up at the moment is about a foot and I'd be using my bashplate. I know, I'm a bit pathetic. Thanks for the reply though.
  11. Hi, I'm Adam, 15, and ride an Onza T-Vee. New to trials but I've been on a bike since I was three. Ride in Nottinghamshire and just trying to get the basics down.
  12. That does look good, something to think about, I was thinking of getting another pallet, halfing it and nailing it onto the other to practice inclined trackstands and side hops. How heavy is that rig, my garden isn't huge and it'd be needing to be lugged around alot.
  13. Ok, need some help. I'm young, just got an Onza T-Vee and needs things that are cheap and easy to get hold of to practice on, at the moment I found a pallet that my parents weren't using, so that's set up. But I need some other things, or cheaper places to get hold of pallets. Any ideas would really help. Adam
