trial tech sport magnesium as stated above. check out the riders using!

hmm true.. i guess its mainly my technqiue since its actually my elbow joints hurting instead of the muscles.. basically i should spread out the impact more? like arms lightly flex so that back and shoulders can take some impact stress too?
-
thanks Matt, i totally understand that alu forks definitely are better but i am running a norco frame, whichw as designed for sus fork.. which is why i am looking for a geo corrected fork.. Dont think there are any light geo corrected fork there? (for a 100mm sus fork replacement hence axle to crown will need around 440mm instead of the usual 400mm)

white with white seat! clean and sleek look. (of course comes with a price that it gets dirty easily haha)

thanks guy will try hitting up the gym, i am fairly fit for my size i think as i am able to perform 50 push ups and 15 chin ups at a ago, but of course extra strenght is always good =) alsowill try landing more rear first a side question, i am thinking of running a XC fork (rock shox recon air) on my street trial frame, it is fairly light 1.6kg and considering that trials dont take much front abuse often.. do u guys think its ok to run xc forks on for trial? need some opinions thanks!

hi guys, recently my elbows have been hurting when i am practising my bunny hops and hopping. I know that the most idela way to land at all times is to land the rear wheel first, but there are some instances like peharps hopping or landing the bunny hop on both wheels puts some stress on the arms, which for me are the elbow. need some advice on how whats the correct technique to land the front wheel.. (yes i am running rigid fork) thanks!

Try all un-armed methods first, if all doesnt work and u think that the lost value of the bike is worth an armed method to get back. why not?

thanks danny thats really helpful! i think i will run the standard spacing of 110 as i will be getting standard rhyno lite rims.. Rago: i just like how the 26 feels =) 24 feels a bit bmx-ish to me.. 26 is harder to control of course, but its trains me to use more body momenteum instead =) a side question, are carbon forks like the nuke proof or the kinesis okay to use for trials? nuke proof http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=22903 kinesis http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=22917

personally i think shoes are important (as of pedals too) since your shoes (and pedals) are the connection between you and the bike. Loosely worn shoes or a worn out grip pedals will sure affect any moves which involves gripping the rear pedals!

thanks danny! thats a really nice bike of yours! those are really useful pictures and info, now i am even more confident of doing my order real soon! i was looking at the custom frame order sheet and have some questions which i need help at.. basically i am looking to get a 26" street trial with seat with a balanced geometry.. looking to forward my style to those of Ryan leech just that i do not wan a suspension fork.. 1. i would be running hs33 so what should my brake mounts spacing be? supposely my rear wheel allowance i might want up to 2.7 thick.. 2. I have no idea for my dropouts, spacing and and axle.. 3. whats a good geometry for a bike which are balanced in doing street and trails? 4. Any extra specs which i need to specifiy? 5. can i ask for an attachment for a connection for a RD hangerer in case i wanna run gears? thanks again for all help! this is really appreciated guys!

marino are my top most consideration now =) guess there are not many steel frames with a good geo and a seat out there.. planet x stop production long ago.. at least till now i haven heard frames snapping or anything, so sounds like a pretty good choice. And a good feature of steel is they dont snap immeidately like alu, so they give u a good safetly check when the frame starts to bend or something
-
sounds good! waiting for Paul to contact me now =) in the meantime any other brands still producing steel frames or have a pretty good one is the last couple of years?
-
thanks Pual send me a pic and how much u looking for in PM, i am open to options =) anyway curtis is crazily ex for me.. know its a super good custom and most prob almost indestructable, so is the price =)

thanks by shit the bed do u mean skipping? just for an estimate how often does the lubbing have to be done?

Hi everyone, Anyone rides a 26 steel frame bike here? i really like how steel flex barely at all and the toughness and it provides.. especially when doing both streets and trails which streets might take bigger impacts. Are there any bikes brands that are still in production which makes 26 steel frames other than norco and marino custom

Anyone knows a silent and good hub? I am using CK classic now and its too loud for me as i ride streets and roll along a lot.. my freeheeling clicks just echos down my whole street. heard the pro 2 trials is pretty loud too.. any recommendations for one thats is pretty silent (no need total silence) but yet decently strong? thanks!
-
thanks, but pardon me whats an anodised rim? i am running rhyno lite btw =)
-
great bike! interested to know how does it rides =)

i hope 'yes' is for yes for a very good brake brip where can i get snowies? i dont see that name in tarty, thanks!
-
its a old shinamo rear hub, a real rear hub not an add on or anything, but its no longer in production i think.. have quite a good number of engagement points
-
Sorry but am i allow to ask here what pads are good with a smooth rim? i am runnng rhino lite rims.. also is it every possible to get a smooth rim and pad combi that have a gripping power of not slipping during rear wheel moves as good a a grinded one?
-
Riding with friends and buddies seems to be the best way, as you get to discuss technqiues and stuff in details and they can show u how to do something LIVE. It beats all videos and reading how to do stuff off the net definitely. However in my area i have no car and a trial bike can travel far, so most of the time i practice a lone. Even just outside the corridor of my apartment -.-
-
great video! though i have no confidece in taking apart my CK hub haha.. anyway like ben mention is there another too to replace the big tool u use?
-
I am lookng for silent too! i ride at night and i ride some street too hence the sound of my CK free wheeling actuall echos down the street! i have a shimano silent clutch, but over the time its not that 'clutchy' anymore. Any shimano has stone producing them? I wonder how ryan leech uses saint, isnt like 10 engagement point a little too little?
