  1. I wasnt sure, and i dont know where the bearings are.
  2. Actualy water is the BEST thing to use, better feel of the lever and so on... And Kenny your brake doesnt break in the winter? It just freezes ( the water inside it.) and then you put it next to a heater until it un- freezes ( sorry, tere was no other words i could think of lol ). So use water mate, makes your brakes better.
  3. Can TF2 Lithium Grease Be used to lube the bearings? If so, where do i put it as i dont know where the bearings are.
  4. Okay what? When did i critisize something? Quote it.
  5. So got any more details ross? Like are we doing the balloon thing again? Where is the ride gonna be etc?
  6. Got my Heatsink Yellows for that!
  7. Thats all i need to do? Take it out of the box, whack some grease on crank threads and the freewheel threads and screw it on? Cheers.
  8. Lol. My freewheel isn't loud at all atm, skips every hour about 10 times
  9. I. Loved. That! You guys are so lucky that you are that good nice one Mark and Adam, and well nice bikes
  10. Cheers, i'm looking forward to getting it i like the loudness
  11. What do i clean the threads/ grease the threads with? Can I use weldtite TF2 Lithium Grease? And anything i should do to it to make it better? Like to make it not skip and to keep it working good and to make it reactive as possible?
  12. Alright guys. My birthday on saturday :wizard: <- closest i could get to a birthday hat . And I'm getting an SL freewheel. I'm just wondering if there is anything i need to do to it before i whack it on. Do i need to grease it/lube it/ oil it? Or put it on the way it comes out of the box? cheers, Kieran.
  13. I'm only 7 stone, how long do i have ? Also, whats lighter, the DOB magnesiums or the V!Z super-lights?
  14. Dude, did you even read that thread? It said like some people have never even heard of that frame snapping, or im thinking of another thread... Echo's are awesome. Go for it. Do it. ECHO! ECHO! ECHO! They are the way forward...
  15. I havn't got any cracks/dents/ havnt snapped yet. They are very weak yet i have had them for a year, and before that they were on the Koxx XTP 282 passed around TF. So I think mine are near death lol. But they are stupidly light forks. Might have to buy some Echo SL's after my DOB's die
  16. I agree, you keep me watching it and wanting to see more! Your a brilliant rider and I cannot see why you aren't sponsored... try rockman bikes? You ride rockmans alot so ... or tarty? You are good enough to be sponsored by them IMO, heatsink bikes? em... Anywhere? selct bikes, trialprod etc. Anyway, another great video from the one and only, keep it up man, very entertaining and makes me want to go ride... Good luck getting sponsored =) Can I ask is the editing software you are using to edit the video's free? If so, what are you using?
  17. Em...No. I have ridden quite a few (most not mine). The ones i've had: Zona Zip, Onza t-pro, Echo lite. Not mine that i have rode: Onza comp, Zoo python, Zoo lynx, Onza 09 nearly the whole range and a few more Out of them all, the echo is the nicest, so yeah
  18. And an echo lite isn't? Echo lite all the way, nicest frame i ever rode, and its 110% worth the money
  19. I was using hot water with fairy liquid And Josh i cant grind it as im not trusted with a grinder lol and i cant take the pads off as i rounded a bolt I think its fixed, just gave it an extra clean just incase
  20. Hey everyone, I have had a lasy piston for quite some time now, and 20 minutes ago, i fixed it. This is what i did: I moved the cylinder far away from the rim, pulled the brake so the pad went really far it and you could see the piston, and sprayed some WD40 in there, and puled the brake in and out whilst spraying it in. So thats how i have been told to do it. I have accidently got some oil on my rim :/ so i got a scourer pad and cleaned it. Before when i had the lazy piston, the brake was rubbish ( well, the bite) was that because of the lazy piston? And now...the brake is terrible, so i cleaned the rim compleltly with soap and all the oil is gone. Now there is no hold at all and no bite. I am using heatsink yellows... Help? Have i contaminated my rim? If so how do i un-contamitate it? Cheers.
  21. Good idea this thread Em.... V!Z 72 Click freewheel. mine skips at least 10 times an hour, and i'm really not exagerating, had it for a year and constant skips. Actualy i remember it skipping the very first day... But far too many skips per day, just now i'd say about 40 skips a day :/ Thank god im getting an SL.
