  1. Why does everyone have to be critical of other peoples music tastes or even more ridiculously appear to be embarrassed at their own? Music is flooded with this awful snobbery and persecution which achieves nothing but to restrict peoples horizons as once people fall into a catagory they deem cool or acceptable it becomes normal to ignore anything else.
  2. Hello chaps. Trying to find an acoustic guitarist I heard a few years ago, I can remember his last name was King but don't recall his first. He played specifically percussive style guitaring (like Newton Faulkner but quite a bit better) I can't really offer any more information. I remember he was quite highly regarded though so anyone who plays may know his name going on the information I've given. If any of you could recommend any other guitarists who specify in this genre of guitar playing I'd appreciate it. Sick of all the electric music I've been stuck in a rut with for the last year and need a change! Thanks guys.
  3. Love the way their personalities appear on the videos. Seem like a genuinely funny group of lads haha! Absolutley quality!
  4. Hello everyone. A few friends and I are going to france over the new year and are looking to get a people carrier (7/8 person seating) for around £500 to get us there and back. I was thinking along the lines of a toyota previa or something but if anyone has something to suggest I'd really appreciate it! The idea is that we will use the car, and sell it on return to potentially remove the cost of travelling. Any marques considered but it basically has to be reliable, economical, confortable... er ok might be asking a little much! Thanks everyone. James
  5. I'll listen to it if it doesnt cost me anything!

    New Tattoos

Yeah man, its all about the first album. Before they sold out and all that. LOLLERSKATES.
  7. The moon and I (attempting to be backwards man, late improv) at a halls party last year. Got a skinhead now but no recent photo's.
  8. Read a book called 'A Brief History of Time' by Steven Hawking. It will inform you enough on this subject to form your own judgements and opinions....It really is quite baffling though - somewhere, out there in space this could be happening!
  9. They mosty definitely are exactly the same tyres. Echo orders most of its parts from a catalogue in taiwain, they probably are dirt cheap! Bet you feel ripped off?
  10. BMX bits? Supercross MXL Frame Thought I'd whack this in here so you guys get to see whats on offer. MXL frame will be up for sale soon as well as an elementary and maybe some tyres when I get batteries for my camera. James Supercross MXL Frame EDIT

    Speaker!

An average amp will set you back 50 quid and fulfil your basic requirements, i.e an aux channel for your pc which you can connect using a rca>1.5mm jack. Then you'd just need the wire to connect them to the amp which can be bought inexpensively (good stuff will be £3 a metre or so). Just make sure your amp is the correct ohm rating for the speakers and is powerful enough (ohm rating and suggested power can be found on the speakers printed somewhere no doubt) If you post up the specification of the speakers we can suggest options more accurately. B&O are meant to be rather good so the investment of an amp may be worthwhile? James
  13. Paul Turner from southampton. Doesnt ride trials any more but was silly ahead of his time on his leeson, was one of the first to have a 24, always smooth and tech. Nick goddard too for his impeccable smoothness.
  14. Not a fan of mcing myself either. Look for radio mixes and studio mixes as they usually dont have any mc'ing.
  15. Go to Toronto Jungle and look in the mix database...Masses of sets you can download straight off the internet, no torrent rubbish.
  16. You're blatantly asking how much its worth to gauge how much return you can make! I offered you what i'd happily pay for it, if you dont want to sell it for that much: 1. Dont ask for people to guide a price in the first place 2. Get all bulshy with me for putting in an offer Whatever you do with the car is your choice but I think its clear you think you've got yourself a bargain through fleecing an old lady and are in the position to make a comfortable return through very little effort. If you were a vw enthusiast who intended to keep the car, you wouldnt have posted this thread in the first place.
  17. Ask him to do a hpi check on a robin reliant! Or on the reg same as his car?
  18. I'll give you 1500 for it.
  19. Glade festival was devestating. Last 4 days in newbury showground, had to move my tent else it would have been underwater! If you're interested type in glade 2007 into google or you tube or something!
  20. Man that was so difficult to read....My head hurts. I mean no offense by this but you really could do with sorting your english out boss, most european teenagers have a better grasp of english than you do as they get taught it from a young age. Good on you for getting off with it, though i suspect had you not been so sketchy in the first instance the police would have never even seen you and this situation wouldnt have occured. James
