Don't burn me if this is a dumb question...but whats happened to Adam Burns? I haven't seen much of him lately and on Street Trials it mentions a back problem? It would be a shame if he can't ride any more he had some skills.... James

That is THE worst review of a part I have ever seen. You have basically said it looks nice, looks like it will be strong and you think your bike is nicer with it on. Maybe it's just a refreshing change from what you had on before. The following would constitute a review 1)Price 2)Where from, contact 3)Speed at which it arrived 4)Quality of packaging 5)Weight 6)Materials 7)Type of bolts, size, material, quality 8) Length rise which you are using, other available sizes 9) Amount of flex, how stiff it feels 10)Quality of interface areas (where bars fit, where steerer fits) 11) Quality of the product overall, does the anodizing appear good etc 12) Value for money 13) Your overall opinion, after having had the product for a substantial time, of how it's lasted, general summing up of product. Try again in 3 months, when you have had it long enough, and post with the above details, that way we can get a good idea of it. Your review is like me getting my forks, got them and put them on, bike felt nicer they felt nice, then they leaked after two weeks, after I had raved about how good they are. Two weeks down the line that stem could develop cracks etc for all you know. Think about it James

Finally got it to work. I thought the video was ok, I got the feeling it had been rather rushed together. Still some good riding, Fletch isn't up to the standard in his previous video though. We'll soon see how the long bike works out for him... James

The format won't work for me and I have media Player 10 why??? I want to see fletcher in action on the new machine as I couldnt come out in southampton last wednesday to see the arse. James

I'm yet to see your bmx dave, bring it out one day and do some "proper" riding with me and steve hehe. In my opinion, the ultimate bmx brake is to have the mounts rewelded for v's, then use a xtr canti, and xtr lever, linear slik cable, and some good pads. I know someone with this set up (lever bent to fit on narrow bars) and it's silly powerful. Sometimes feels more solid than my Mini as there is no sponge in the brake at all, and before any smart arse says "it's a mini duh.." etc MY mini works great, so suck my nuts. For cranks there's profile, no other option really, and I'd steer clear or Gusset's as I bent mine. Profile hubs are well regarded as the best too and they do plenty of models for anyone really. Grips....Fir Key grips are nice, so are long necks, all personal preferance really. James

Sennheiser HD437's. £20 and superb bass mid and top. They are really good. I don't need any bass boost on my cd player at all they have such good response at low frequencies. I'd totally reccomend anything by sennheiser :) James Edit: here is a link to the phones -Sennheiser hd437

A 3 piece dw shell pack is roughly 2.229. Not sure what it could be, sounds like it will be nice.... James

I expect it will be a spaun. They are known for their flame kits. Or could be a dw but I think a grand is a bit cheap for a dw to be honest. Id got for nearer 3 grand. Did no one look at my drum kit...." Its on my bands site on the about us page. No that is not a Iron Cobra by the way. It's the roadpro double pedal. And i seriously doubt his kit will be a pearl if it's coming with flames. They wouldn't do a finish like that I shoudn' think. Have to say I'm not a fan of your kit mate, but it's a good starter I guess. Could do with running batter skins, not resonants on the top though :( James

If i don't manage to find some blue dragons, you fancy selling me a rear tioga matt? James
-
Yeah that would work too lol. I wouldnt fancy the nice metal ends though if i fell off. James

24inch is mint mate, I'm 5.8 and have just over average width shoulders and they feel perfect. Could always do 26, then 25, then 24, to see how it feels wider instead of cutting them really short and hating it. James
-
They shouldn't be that much narrorer if you leave them full width. When you said narrow bars I thought you meant around 24inches....I never run anything wider than that now, so much easier and comfortable, x ups feel better, I feel more in control.. Most trials riders prefer wide bars as they offer more control and leverage, but I find they give me back pains.... James

Yeah ad that was super helpful even if it was taken off the king site. It answered things that people usually ask and he made a lot of effort with it so it's cool. Thanks Mike James p.s aspirevelotech is superb, their prices are like british ones but in dollars :P or less....

I could put one on my bands website if you like, I'd make a seperate sort of link for you as it's not really related to any of the other material on the website. We get a fair bit of traffic so can't be a bad thing, even if it isn't really a trials related site. Is the code you first supplied still useable? If so I will get my brother to do his thing and put it up on the links page (Y). I have plugged the site a fair bit on the forum so it's only fair really. The site is in my signiture (click equilibiria). Cheers for the forum Tom. James

Go on the equilibria link in my signiture and then go to about us in the navigation bar, I'm at the bottom and you will find pictures of my kit from when we recorded. I have others but dont know how to shrink the file size... Thanks James P>S It's a DRUM KIT lol just for you Rob P
-
Follow Tart's instructions but if you really do struggle, put the tool in a vice and use the frame for leverage  This is how I got mine out when I couldnt do it with a 24inch breaker bar.

or no holes at all (Y)

thats a nice finish you got on there craig almost looks like you tried to take the roughness away from the edges....

IMO drilling rims is a bit of a waste of time and just makes stuff lots weaker-looks horrible and doesnt actually loose much weight...at the moment there isnt one company making good drilled rims right now they all either order in cheap parts from the east and drill holes in them or use alex rims and drill holes in them and leave shards of metal hanging everywhere for the consumer to cut their fingers on eg megamo.... also they say they dont eylett them for more weight saving but there isnt any excuse for leaving a nice visible gap in the join. if someone made rims which were of good quality with well finished drillings and generally was still half decent then maybe but as i see it drilling rims not only makes the rim weaker through less surface area but it also may heat the alloy to a point where retapers itself which obviously isnt a good thing. At the moment i think if you want to loose weight then take a shit before you go out riding. i can see this post being very very contravertial.
