I'm sorry but only 2 mm :o That's a lot. Get real man, pads that last less than a week under any condition aren't worth £14 in my opinion, and clearly in Steve's hence them still being in testing phase.. James

Im not really aiming to clean it though just prevent any rust for the mean time until it's running, as long as no long term damage is caused then wickidy bo. I'll use some carb cleaner once it's running. James

Just a little question here... Is it fine to spray a bit of wd40 around the carb to keep it all swish after cleaning my engine bay down. I've been having lots of fun with degreaser and a pressure washer and sprayed all the usual contacts etc with wd40 after to keep it all dandy and did the same with the carb, but now someone mentioned specific carb cleaner I'm just checking to see if wd40's fine as well. By the way the car is a non runner right now so don't say, "just go and start it you'll soon find out". Thanks James

Diesels nowadays have fairly decent torque so they pull well, hence most vans being diesel as they are both economical and good for pulling loads. The trouble is as soon as you hit 70mph they run out of breath and will be shite. I guarantee most 1.3's will be quicker is they're petrol, just the way the engines are.

It's harder to draw a willy in MS paint than you'd imagine. I was concerned people wouldn't realise what it actually was hense the seminal fluids. James

Porter loves the willy.

I can't remember any real arguments between Seniors and normal members recently at all to be honest..... Senior members I suppose are the ones who are meant to set an example to all the other members and be as helpful as they can. Senior members for example may know more about the forum than other members so if someone has a question it would be safe to say they can PM one of the pink names at the bottom of the forum index and they will get a decent answer. We also suggest candidates for validation etc..... As Mark has said we are also here to help admin/mods with any forum bugs etc and help with any future changes that are made to the forum. For example all the SM's knew about the new skin before all other members. [sARCASM] Most importantly of all though we are here to talk down all the normal members and belittle them, as well as waste our whole lives being grumpy and moaning about you buggers [/sARCASM] The forum is a dictatorship yes, there are heirachy's and rules but without them the forum would probably be a lot worse for everyone. I did it without a second thought, it's just tioga trying to be clever about pinch flat prevention. It's fine without it for sure, mine are still dead straight. Just go carefully and they'll be great. A grind lasts a while on the rear too, but if you drag your front brake a lot it'll wear off fairly soon. My ultra fine grind wore off in 2 months on the front. But is still perfect on the back. James

The orange ones you have seen are probably, most 100% going to be the Bonham signiture drums. Replica's above..

Tama RSC custom 8,10,12,14 toms and 22x18 bass, 14x5 1/2 snare Pro sonix cymbals 16 crash, 14 hats, 10 splash, 18 china, 21 ride. Titan and roadpro hardware, Remo pinstripe heads on toms (Powerstroke 3 on bass) and Evans powerspot on snare. Behringer 32 chanel 8 bus desk into M audio delta 10/10 card on pc. AKG d435 (I think) clip on tom mic's AKG C1000 overheads All on quiklock stands, I'm using a sm57 on the snare right now as it gives a good live tone which I like. There's also a akg D112 in the bass drum I didn't take out to photograph. It's all pretty jazzy, sounds cool just recorded blank with no effect, the room reverb is quite good. You can hear a track done with all that on our myspace Here (it's the one titled new song) Cheers James

At her parents before the Jag collected us. Was very classy... The celebrations however were brought to a halt after someone lit up a big jay and got us all repremanded.

People were throwing names in the air as to who would be the trials equivalent, so I gave my opinion. Deal with it. Trials is such a new sport there's not really anyone who can be a good comparison. I'm pretty sure Rodney Mullen doesn't need any defending dude just chill out.

It is indeed frowned upon on ebay. Once you put an item as an auction it enters a contract or something which requires it to run it's course until the end, and sell to the highest final bidder. It's up to you what you do, although I'd try and remove the question from the sale page as it's likely he could get banned off ebay which is a bit harsh. In all it is frowned upon but is known to always happen. It's really down to you to decide if it's worth selling at what he is willing to offer (i.e if that is more than you expect the auction to finish on). However there's always the argument that if someone is so eager to offer you that much, then it's probably going to fetch that either way, it also maybe worth that much to someone else which in the end could result in a high winning bid. Up to you Steve  James

Speakon fitments are like a plastic clip in fitment for heavy duty use and high output speakers. They are like big plastic cable ends which clip into the input really securely and need you to pull a little catch to get them out. You can wire up standard speaker leads to them no problem ans they will be fine. You needn't worry at all. You can even buy speakon to bare wire leads  I'd put that site as a favorites it's got absolutely everything you could need really. James

Go to your local music shop and ask them for an old box, they'll have loads you could use. Just make sure the guitar is in there securely and use plenty of bubble wrap around the outside and use your common sense. You could always write fragile in big letters on the box and pay for recorded so they are a bit more careful I suppose, it's all down to what mood they are in I imagine. Hope that was some help. James edit: Too late

Sorry don't quite get you there, what did he ever do? You're gonna have to explain. Unless it was some weird sarcasm I didn't quite get I think you are quite mistaken.

I'd say more the Corey Martinez.....or some flatlanders...But anyway Tim Pratt is probably the trials equivalent. James
