  1. My golf (on going project) 0-60 in about 16 sec 100mph down a hill if I'm lucky.
  2. The golfs were GTI's on MK1's, GTI's, G60's on Mk2's. For the MK3 Polo's there were G40's, and GT's. The G40/60's are supercharged and generally the quicker of the bunch although I like a good MK1 1.6 8v gti myself (naturally aspirated)- just got to love the retro :P Looks like a nice car you've got there man the GT's are really good value now just watch for the rust and headgasket. How many miles does it have? I'm guessing about 110,000. They can look delicious too with only a litlew bit of work, give yours a good polish and it will look 100 times better just with that, also some new number plates maybe as your's are a little faded. All in all nice one mate, hope the insurance isn't too much of a killer. Now, for some inspiration...
  3. FSA powerpro's with a ringthing (don't know if it's been mentioned) because it was the only way to turn your xc bike into a trials bike spending less that £40. They were shit and we all went through about 6 pairs but they were great nonetheless. James
  4. I used to live in a terraced house and played there, all I did is when I moved in I went and knocked on the neighbours 2 doors eachway and asked when a good time for them was, we agree'd on a 3 hour gap a day and there were never any problems. James
  5. You probably f**ked it up then to be honest. It can't ever be wrong so you must be. James
  6. Also try any combination (but don't hit the blue button), it's always the same symbol. Oh well quickly worked out but easy fun. James
  7. Click Here I don't need to explain really, just go there, and try it a few times....Freaky eh? Anyone care to explain how it works? James
  8. Salisbury's shite though (Y) Southampton or pompey are the only places around there worth riding. James
  9. Well euro bb = mountain bike style with threaded cups, and U.S bb = larger press in cups like on most BMX's. What frame do you have? James
  10. They move like bastids and eventually break. As I found out. James
  11. I've got one for sale if you want it, 14quid posted and it's yours. Brand new not used at all. James
  12. Haha how many times did you take a pic man and that's still not fully tweaked!!! Ah well they're all nice pics, nice one mate :wink2: I enjoyed today was good fun. Hopped a 41inch wall so was chuffed with that. James
  13. Another quick pic of a 24, this is Fred's one when paul owned it:
  14. In order to comply with rules of the "Buy all" championships and leagues I will add weight(s) to my bike to ensure fair practise in any ensuing LLS vs. 24 contests.

  16. It's almost worth checking out a new bike nowadays as there's some really good value bmx's out there which are affordable and well specced. Check out Pijin, Alans, Customriders etc.... James
  17. Sorry mods, couldn't resist. This is the reason paul decided his was too heavy, 21.5 lbs of 24inch love.

  22. Hey everyone, Me and a few people are trying to organise a ride for the 29th of july in sunny ol' southampton so if everyone wants to make it a nice big ride then come along down. Shall we say the usual 11am at the station? Ride there for an hour and a half and move on otherwise everyone stays all day!!! There should be a fair few riders about of all abilities so get on down and lets make it a good one. Any questions etc just ask. The date will not change!
  23. :S" Cambridge audio :D" You know it makes sense. However richer sounds is definitely worth a look, if you can find a local store ( i know theres one near me but I'm not sure how many branches they have) and go in and explain what you're looking for and how much you have to spend. They will be able to advise you on the best possible set up for your money. Also, I can't stress enough how important it is to have decent leads (RCA and Speaker) as these literally make the world of difference. Look out for shielded ones etc.... I spend 80 quid on 3 leads for my HI-FI, expensive but it's worth it. James
