That wheel is an R.A that fred pictured, so are the g40 wheels, so are mk2 gti wheels. They are all the R.A design just available in 13, 14, and 15 inch. Mine didnt go on easily because they are from a Scirroco so the centre is a bit fatter - but it's worth it beause 14's are perfect for the golf. Theres no reason ra's won't go on any 4x100 vw providing you have the right bolts, basically and polo up to mk3 and golf to mk2 is 4x100 so they'll go right on?

I'll be rebuilding the bottom end, re-bore, reshelled pistons, knife edge crank etc...and the head will be fully gas flowed and port matched, i'll be running a ultimate road piper cam, custom exhaust system, and bike carbs off a solid state pump with regulator...etc etc.......I'm sure you know the various ways. Next question please.

Raah saving this from page two. I bought another veedub at the weekend, a polo. It's a 1300 with a hydraulic tappet head, 5 speed box, 60k and two owners from new. 90 quid. Bargain!!! I'm bidding on a carb for it off ebay and the engine in the polo's gonna be my wee project engine which will be chucked in my golf when it's complete... 120bhp here we come Pics to follow.. James

Got to agree 100% - Theres pretty much no closure on any of the other themes in the story on the directors but whereas the tv version wraps evertything up really nicely and doesnt leave you with a lingering feeling of incompletion after wasting 2 hours of your life.

Ha so i was right on the 1/4 mile times I was just making a guess on the power as they're fairly heavy beast so take a bit of oomph to move them quickly. I don't think 380bhp would get 1/4's any quicker than 13 secs though.
