  1. i just wish there was a regional for sale section here...ever ship a bike international??? so expensive.
  2. yea learning is the hard part, you use muscle groups you never knew you had! just give it a break if you feel pain
  3. good vid! i was a little worried about opening the link and seeing a naked guy on a bike at first...
  4. you've got a good point pashley... watching the way any sport has progressed in the last few years, it's usually they younger, faster healing group that comes up with new and ridiculous stunts/tricks. as you get older you have to worry about not being hurt for work/family...gotta pay the bills! ugh.
  5. they told us that we didn't have to work on christmas eve, and the day before they said we do now. pretty lame, but at least it's only 8 to 12 am
  6. not 100% trials related but a good read to get an idea of a bicycles geometry http://www.pinkbike.com/news/bike-frame-geometry-2009.html for trials use, a higher bottom bracket will make the bike more comfortable on the rear wheel, and less stable for two wheel moves. and vice versa
  7. i'm 27, only been riding trials for a bit under a year, but riding bikes since 15. my brother is 25 and rides trials, and my pops is about 52 and just got himself a echo pure
  8. ha ha i think i'm getting shin pads too, i still have a scab healing from a good hole i put in my shin about 2 weeks ago!
  9. i started without a helmet, but was pretty much just practicing trackstands in my backyard. one time i went out with my brother to the park and he fell and almost cracked his head...after that we both got some lids! I'm glad i did as i was just messing around a couple weeks ago and looped out and wacked my helmet on a curb. would have been pretty brutal without a helmet.
  10. nice riding man! props on the snow riding too! i can't trust myself on snow...psych's me out
  11. too expensive and heavy to even bother
  12. when you copy the link for the picture use the IMG one.
  13. my guess is that you are riding a mod with probably a high bottom bracket, and you then tried your friends stock which has a longer wheelbase, and lower bottom bracket. what bikes where they???
  14. hey fred, i ride in Orange with my brother and dad pretty often, if you ever wanna come ride we usually go to Hart park during weeknights, and there are some comps coming up in january at fontana
  15. i've been wearing a THE F-14 helmet, kinda like a fox flux but cheaper and not as bulky looking. i found it on sale from beyondbikes.com (california) but i'm sure it's available in your neck of the woods as well
