  1. Whats the weight of the Zoot?
  2. Awesome, really tempted to go for one myself. I'm going to have a think and decide at the end the month.

Adam from tarty bikes is selling his Inspired for £550 so really tempted by it, such a good spec too.

  3. Yeah it is pretty cheap and alrite spec too. Yeah I would get a screw on sprocket for the front and a cassette for the rear. I don't like front free wheels as they eat your jeans!

Can Edinburgh cycles get Onza or Inspired products?

  4. The new Zoot looks awesome, good work Onza very tempted to go for one of them. The built it pivotal mount is a really nice touch too. What weight does the Zoot come in at?
  5. Yo, hows it going? You been on tartys website? They have the new Onza Zoot up! Looks pretty sick, built in pivotal seat mount on the frame, think I could be tempted to get one of them instead of the Inspired. Only thing I'm not keen on is it has a front freewheel but thats easy sorted.

Did you have a good sess at BOD last night?

  6. Sorry not tonight, been out at kemnay then westburn today as I was off, pretty knackered. Maybe thursday night?

  7. I never went over spines on the Inspired so can't comment on that. What colour is your NS? If you've been to kemnay a few times chances are we've seen each other?

  8. Weather is rubbish today anyways. Yeah I rode my Inspired at kemnay a couple times, was pretty good but would've been more suited to it with a the different set-up that I'm wanting to get. Cool, I used to shop in there quite a bit. Hopefully riding a bit of street next week if you're up for that? I'll give you a shout when I am.

  9. I was out at kemnay today, was really good, nice an dry!

Nah wouldn't be going brakeless, I'd set it up with a shorter stem with more rise and higher rise bars. Also vee's front and rear, different gearing too.

Might be heading out to kemnay tomorrow if you're up for that?

  10. Cool, yeah I know knowles but not that well. Yeah bridge of don park is alrite, prefer westburn or kemnay. Kemnay is awesome, I live like 2 miles away from it, I was thinking about heading out there one night this week but was told its still full of slush! If you do go let me know what sort of state its it please.

I was thinking on another Inspired but a slightly different set-up...

  11. Hey, thats cool you might be building up a 24, I'm looking to build up another one by summer time hopefully. I still ride bmx just now. Do you ride in Aberdeen much?

  12. Some nice stunts there, looks like a fun park. Where abouts is it? Manchester area? I googled it but shows a couple bones skateparks.
  13. Really nice looking bike and nice riding pictures too. Would be interesting to know the weight of your frame?
  14. Hey man, hows it going?

Just seen your thread about getting a 24" trials bike. Does your mate with the Inspired live in/near Aberdeen?

I'm currently saving to get another 24" trials bike, I did get an Inspired but sold it, wish I kept it! Depending how much you have to spend you could go the cheaper option and get a Marino frame with Inspired geometry?

  15. Looks like you guys had great fun which is what its all about Nice to see the curtis put to good use too.
  16. This simply looks awesome, love it. The more I keep looking at these 24" the more it makes me want to sell my bmx and get one myself again. Damn, should've kept the Inspired and sold the bmx ha.
  17. Looks spot on. And don't use the excuse of being bullied to get one, you know you wanted one really Enjoy it
  18. Very nice. What length/rise of stem did you go for?
  19. Looks awesome! Steel frames are the greatest! Give me a shout if you're ever up in Aberdeen
  20. This may be up for sale shortly, I'm not finding enough time to ride this and my bmx, also finding it hard to chop and change between each bike.
  21. My full new Inspired arrived on Friday, got it all built up same day, weather was gash so couldn't get out on it and was busy Saturday, got out on it today for my first wee sess, feels awesome, total different from my bmx though and not been on a trials bike for more than 2 years so needless to say I'm a bit rusty. I bought a hollow headset bolt but it does not fit the Echo Urban forks so going to sell them and get some Pashleys or maybe Curtis forks instead. Many thanks to the guys at Tarty Bikes for all there help and excellent service, appreciate it. Spec is as follows Echo Urban fork, Hope headset, Hope stem 90mm x 10 degree, Easton EA50 bars high rise, Hope pro 2 hubs front and rear built onto Trialtech hole rims with with Halo alloy nipples, DMR Moto Digger tyres, Trialtech cranks 170mm with 18tooth Trialtech sprocket and Trialtech Ti half guard, SKF bottom bracket, Trialtech 810 chain, Atomz chain tensioner, Avid BB7 185mm front disc brake, Avid SD7 rear vee brake with Inspired slim pads, Onza vee adaptor, Avid SD7 levers, Abikeco linear brake cables, Abikeco hamilton pedals, Abikeco cush seat, Inspired seat post and clamp
  22. Very nice, you can never go wrong with an all black bike. As for the bars/stem, if they feel good to you and you're happy, keep them! As the saying goes "Each their own"
  23. If all goes well I should have my bike tomorrow! So I'll no doubt have a wee sess at the weekend in Aberdeen, probably Sunday if anyone is going about?
