whenever you use the brake, the fluid inside is under pressure, so anything that you "attempt" to put on the hole will just come off. you need a new hose... end of story. give tarty a ring and they can get you a cut down piece of pipe with fittings etc, that will be ready to bolt in and bleed.... that is if you know how to change the hose?

he uses double V brakes actually and if i was you, i would get rid of the ZHI cranks, ZHI parts are wank. plus cranks are a good way of saving weight if your a weight weenie...

my hope is nearly 2 years old ( ive had it for a year ) and its still got the original pads in it! ive only had to bleed it once so far its had loads of use, and still as perfect as the day i got it. you cant go wrong really, just make sure you know how to bleed it correctly!
