Sounds to me like they're contaminated, i've only ever heard of brakes squeeling/honking from contamination, have you checked the caliper for leaks?

So the crack looks like its spreading to the end of the lever now, getting lots of stress marks. Im interested in getting the Magura hs11 lever (2011) but im worried about it leaking, i'll be using mineral oil, opinions?

Have to disagree with this, tried both heatsink blue and heatsink yellow on a smooth bite wasn't that good hold was okay.. then got my first grind and they went really good (the yellows) and now they're starting to slip (on some kicks, might have to see what im doing though because it might be a bad anlge im landing at or something)
