  1. That was spot on, i was really impressed how you managed to leave moves like sidehops and hooks for the final (assuming you're doing some?) and STILL manage to get dubble gold, get in!
  2. Now watching this on itv player, you're on the front page bit guys, good job.
  3. Nah, the frame is powder coated that colour. I got asked if it was an echo quite alot by people at radfest. It was black, wish i'd kept it like that now..
  4. Really happy with it now, rides spot on, might get some lighter cranks but i think its done after that. Never thought a bike could ride so perfect. Got the new bars for it today, well worth getting, worth every penny.
  5. Got mine about mid day and given then a cupple hours ride. I thought my bike rode well before but its NOTHING compaired to how these make my bike feel. Anyone considering buying a set i'd say go for it, you wont regret it! Worth every penny.
  6. I'm pretty sure thats not the frame he's using.
  7. I braught a set of these from radical bikes the other day, should be here tomorrow. Its my first set of carbon bars is there any dos and don'ts with them because jack carthy and a few others said they left their stem fairly loose because they were worried about crushing the bars from over tightening the stem.. Soo would that be possible to do? Though it'd be best ask here rarther than start a new topic.
  8. Sounds good, is that because the sky frame is 116mm? I was thinking you were just a major weight weenie. Your bike is ridiculously light though, how much does it weigh?
  9. I know what you mean, i thought it was lighter than that. It is 3mm wider but thats not enough to make up all that weight Should have got the neon haha.
  10. http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/24_inch_rims/vz_single_wall_rear_24_inch/c43p11676.html
  11. I Assume you can see them all on facebook then? Did you mill the holes in it?
  12. Same as above. Its looking good though!
  13. Really? I'm surprised, they're fairly big.
  14. Oh i've already got a grind, if the grind gets a little dusty or something and the brake starts slacking i'll sometimes put brakespray on although most of the residue is from before i had a grind. Nah, dont want to risk getting WD40 on the brakes, they're spot on at the moment.
  15. Nice bike! Top spec too! I assume in the first lot of pictures that was a try-all stock stem?
  16. Grinder!? Its hard, but not that hard haha, and its on the top of the rim as appose to the sidewall so cant grind it I'll ask my dad if we've got a toffee wheel sounds like a pretty good option to me! I'll try this too, doesn't sound like a bad idea.
  17. I sometimes use monty brake spray on my rear maggy and as i spray it it'll sometimes get a bit on the top of the rim (as appose to the sidewalls) and over time it hardens into this hard, white, oily, semi sticky substance on my rim. To which many people at radfest asked if i had jizzed on my rim. I want to know is there any easy way to get it off? I've tried sand paper and files both work but i don't want to damage my rim. I then moved onto white spirit, which didn't do anything and finally i've tried boiling water which melts the substance into a very thick colourless shiney paste which is also hard to remove. Any ideas/tips/knowhow?
  18. Haha, its a shame he wasn't there on saturday really for the competitions. What the 40" box sidehop?
  19. Haha, picture of him? I've never had a look-a-like and the bike is 24" not stock Are you able to see the pictures on my facebook?
  20. A gap i'm pretty proud of, love this photo. Big tuck from ross clayton 10 Year old Charlie Rolls attempting a move i've never really seen before up 50"s of tyre. He was also hooking these. 40Inch sidehop (big for me :$ ) Find All these photos and the rest of the album on my facebook: http://www.facebook....01410737&type=3
  21. Tell that to my echo 09 pedals, i've had them 1 year 11months and they're still strong as the day i got them! I couldn't wish for a better pedal. I'm offen doing head height drop-gaps and 8ft drops, i dont give them an easy time. I also had some echo handle bars, they weighed in at 280g ish and lasted a year, so i'd say the strength to weight radio is pretty good!
  22. Where did you find this? Monty site? or a shop? So much for a 2013 frame.
