I broke my old (cracked fork) propperly today, i snapped the leg off for the lols

oh okay, i might give the pads a switch over and try running them the other way round, because one side is offset and is longer than the other side? yeah it is louder, not much more bite or hold though. V!Z rim, oldish grind, tiny amount of tar, but it doesn't do anything. the front rim is an onza zoot that they were previously run on.

When i ran my old v-brake (front - avid sd7 arms, clarks cable, avid fr5 lever) the onza brake pads were amazing, most powerful and loudest brake i ever owned. I've now got rear vee brake (avid sd7 arms, clarks cable, avid sd7 lever) and the pads are terrible, hardly any bite, not much hold, basically silent. Thoughts?

I've never got along with heatsink yellows, i've tried CNC backed yellows, plastic backed yellows and yellows in a vee, none seem to work for me. Both on and off a grind with and without tar.

Have they fully bedded in? and what discs are you using?

I think the wheels would buckle very easily, also it might be harder for moves like pedal kicks due to the wheel being in the way, not to mention the extra weight too. cant see it taking off myself.

Have you considered a marino frame? Custom geo' so you could have a seat post, enough room for gears or whatever else? They're only about £80ishhh too. - from memory

The spoke idea worked perfectly! just put it though the little hole and bent it up over and around the adapter to keep it in place then cut it to the right length! sweeeeeet. On the other hand. finish the spoke-spring just go out to test it and then it rains -.-

I've finally got all the bits to get my v-brake working but Im not sure about a few things and i've got a TINY piece of the spring missing. First off the tiny piece thats missing: The bit that goes in that tiny hole has gone missing, its apart of what makes the spring work. Is there anything i can use instead of it? I think i needed a new one any way as it was bent before i even used it. Are they available to buy anywhere? I thought about cutting up a small pin and cutting off the spike and using that instead, would that work? Sorry for the bad picture, but between the two gold bits (bolts) you have the main v-arm. Under that you can see a decent sized space between the v-arm and the adapter, should that be there or not? i get a little bit of play (up and down from both arms.)
