  1. fantastic video, watched that a few times now. so much power and control.
  2. the set up you showed in the picture looks good to learn wheel swaps (front to backs as you call them) For hooks, you'll want a high setup, then have a pallet leaning against the front to make it not vertical and thus easier to hook. once you've mastered that, take the pallet away and repeat.
  3. Improving nicely mate! improved loads since i last watched one of your videos.
  4. Have a think about what move(s) you want to train and make your set up around that.
  5. Hope hydraulic rim brakes sound good. A hope vee would be nice too. maybe a nice range of new 24" pure trial tyres.
  6. This is lush, whats the rear tyre like? any good?
  7. Some good riding there mate, especially for under a years riding.
  8. whats the weight of the frame? because it seems to have a really good, light weight spec but its come out at 9kg.. Pretty good looking machine you have there though.
  9. you can mod that way more, get that sub 900g!
  10. you need to learn to ride smoother mate!!
  11. Yes, sean watson does them. as if tips try not to fall on your face and learn normal g-turns first.
  12. I ride all types, brakeless, TGS, comp, and street my main styles i do are comp then i'll sometimes mix into that a little street.
  13. They're the best frames ever i've had mine for a year and a half ish and love it. The only downside is the 1.9kg weight on it.
  14. Yes i know, but i didn't think you used it, just sold it. Yeah the V!Z rims are shit for holding a grind.. Yeahh i've done it before, such a chore!
  15. I've heard a pretty nice (trials) review on the magura mt2
  16. The bottom bracket i saved a decent amount, i dont have a picture of that though. total maybe comming up to 150ish grams? i did my front rim too thats included in that weight. Link? i couldn't find it.
  17. Those cranks are fairly beefy, drill them. You arn't using your bash plate mounts, cut them off. Drill your bottom bracket shell. Drill your stem. Loose the spacer and excess fork steerer you dont need. You're duel disc, dril your sidewalls, and single wall, enlargen any drills you have. Enlargen your headtube drill Strip your frame. Loose the chainstay protector on the fork remove your seat. oh wait. Pics of my bike, for inspiration:
  18. Yeah i was going to say, i've never been a massive fan of yellows, they're okay, nothing better. I've got some magura coustellier pads, would it be posible to put those pads in the heatsink vee backings?
  19. Do the pads have chamfers if they do then they're belaeys if not then they're phat pads. Whats a non-linear cable? i have been thinking about doing this.. but then it could make it worse so i want to do that as a last resort kinda thing. Infact carl you saw it being used by darrel didn't you what was it like on his bike? I did wonder this actually but i've got heatsink yellow pads too and they're better but not as good as i feel they should be either. Oh okay then.. the hold isn't really there either though. I'll try giving the whole setup a clean and everything see what happens. This is what my old vee used to be like.
  20. They should make this into a business so there are a few barrow farms around the country.
  21. the last rim didn't have a grind and they're smooth rim pads. maybe they'll get better once the grind is deader ?
  22. Better... but not amazing, still no nose, infact less.
