I can only remember a single clip from this video, it was a guy from ukraine/russia that area of the world on a 20", was on i think vimeo and he was blancing along, a long (pink??) rail. But what makes it stand out is the way he 'opposite balances' so if hes falling left rather than putting his right foot out to balance he will spin 180 degrees keeping the bike straight and use his left leg to do the balancing which looks pretty crazy. Never seen anyone else do it? I know its a long shot but any help would be nice.

You could probally build what im running for close to £100 (maybe a bit over?) And ive never felt anything come close to the power of its brutal. 203mm hope trial disc, shimano saint caliper with EBC red pads and a shimano zee lever.

Are there much/any difference between the new style shimano levers in terms of mechanical ratio and piston size? Ive always loved powerful disc brakes and im using a zee lever on saint caliper(m810) at the moment and the zee lever has broken, if i replaced it with something else could i get more power?

I took my shimano zee lever completely apart just to clean it and fix a small plastic piece which had broken and theres a tiny spring inside which i cant for the life of me, figure out where it goes. Its used to stop lever play (back and fourth as appose to up and down) could anyone help find where its placed? Got a ride tomorrow so ideally need it done this afternoon if possible. Thanks guys.

I love that you're doing this Ali, content is good and should be great for the sport. Watched them all and subscribed to your channel. Being constructive- some are a little long, for me ideally would be 8-15ish minuites long, then make part 2's if you want to continue. For me this just brakes the vlogs up and makes them a little more watchable. Obvously the comments from people who walk by arnt controllable but always entertaining to put in if posible. Have you got any riding holidays planned? I really enjoy paul wallis's Supercars of london vlog, the way he opens the vlog, his entry titles and energy throughout is great, watching these might give you some tips. Hope you dont mind the feed back, great work ali, keep them coming.

Im considering a new front brake set up because.. i erm.. feel like it and i like new shiney things . Currently running a zee lever on a saint caliper on a 203 trialzone rotor. Ive never tried either of these brakes i hear that the mt7 is more powerful and lighter(im a massive weight weeny) but has a fair amount of flex (which is worse than a heavy brake for me). Any reviews, opinions would be lovely, thanks guys.

Video was good but all the way though i couldnt help thinking your bar angle doesnt compliment your riding style and i felt you couldve gone alot bigger have they had complimented your riding.

Ill pick faults in each modal ive used and areas which they could be improved in my opinion. Not sure if this is what youre after? '04 style magura - This is the best modal ive used, VERY solid build and feel at the lever, if i was to say anything lets it down id say the weight and lack of aftermarket levers for it. Easy to bleed. A modernised 2015/16 version of this lever body would be great (9/10) '05 magura - Good brake, although has more flex than the 04 and cracks on the body, good range of after market levers. Again easy to bleed. (6/10) '11 aweful brake was very disappinted with this. Huge amounts of flex, lack of aftermarket levers, complicated build, comes across cheap. Never bled this brake however. (4/10) Raceline brake- pretty good brake, comes in some nice anodized colours which is good, lovely light build, pretty powerful, aftermarket levers avaliable, easy to bleed, doesnt crack, but has a fair amount of flex. (8/10) I do understand that the flex comes with lever length and leverage ratio. All my brakes have been standard and have been used with more than one bike/frame/booster/no booster. Hope this helps you out?
