  1. I thought that with any bike the larger rotor was supposed to be at the front?? wether it be a motorbike or not,i'v had ktm crossers,an R6 and a Gsxr 600 and my gf has a gixxer thousand and the front rotors on all of them have been bigger Or am i fruitloop? lol
  2. Yeh defo seems like a good deal, looks in excellent condtion and those downtube scratches are expected as you probably know good spec aswell
  3. I should imagine it would hold your wheel in place firmer mate,i have those bolts on both my hubs,a zoo rear hub(fixed) and Gu front, and the actual bolts only just fit through the dropouts, and thats on a set of echo control forks, and also a czar ivan frame, and a Gu typhoon 06,so should be the same with yours, plus one side of the hub on the axle sometimes comes with a little tab on a spacer and that slots in the gap after you have inserted your hub axle into the dropouts,i'll add pics if you want to see,i'm not the greatest at explaining,sorry.......but in a nutshell, theyre a snug fit and mine never move no matter what i do,and i do quite big drops and my landings are by no means smooth lol...hope this helps a little
  4. I loved my t-pro,it was such a sweet ride, they all should be providing theyre set up correctly and brakes are powerfull,i jus had to go back to stock though, felt a right loner as hardly anyone else rides mod round where im from....i still might get another mod at some point so i have the choice ......but defo, the t-pro is an excellent bike
  5. Not 100% sure yet Ogre mate,i have a few options with the Gu,i have a guy interested in swapping for his 06 pitbull long stock frame, but he's naffed one of the maggie threads ...also a mate of mine has snapped two frames, one being a koxx level boss thats been round too many riders to mention, then jus a week ago a planet x zebdi!! so being the nice guy i am i might be lending the gu to him till he sells his apple mac to fund a new ride, once i decide on either swap/sell or any other options i'll be sure to let you know ok? i'll add you as a friend so i can contact you
  6. Thats defo a sweet ride for the price, think you have done better than me with my czar there Alex....good work lad ps..im sure thats an 07'frame?? my mate has one exactly the same and im sure his is a 2007? nether the less good deal, thats the try-all hope mono isnt it? red bore cap on the caliper
  7. I recently built up a Gu Typhoon and rode it for a bit,i'v found it harder to control and balance on the back wheel many more correctional hops going on and thats a waste of energy lol and i dont set myself up for gaps/lines/moves as well...point of this topic is.... Has anyone ever rode a longer frame and found it strange to ride? because i was under the understanding that it should be easier to balance and sit on the back wheel on the long wheelbased bikes?? iv just rebuilt my 1080 czar short ivan and boom! im balancing all day long and so much smoother already,i don't understand why that is.....any elaborations welcome
  8. Easy joel, need to come london soon now im on stock, ill send all the stuff i was worried about before nw gu rides nice but im not too sure if the uber long bikes for me?? im giving it a week or so then makin my decision,i was getting really comfy on my czar and improving well and becoming so smooth, anyway be good to see you soon bro,you getting out riding much at the moment?
  9. Heya mate, hope your ok, I don't really think there is coaching unless it's with a group or club who maybe run a bike control course?? i think your best bet is to get in touch with some riders from near where you live/ride etc and arrange to meet up with them, then when you ride with them observe them to get an idea of things and ask them for a small insight into technique to get what the moves are and what they are about,do not fully copy them though because everyone eventualy has their own unique style and touch to riding, also watch videos, believe me it helps and inspires and will give you ideas, but above all enjoy it,never let it get you down or too frustrated and adopt your own style of riding, take your time,be safe.....let me know how it goes, good luck, and welcome to the forum
  10. Pretty nice,im sure saw this on ebay a while ago,was it you selling it,love mine, think i might build it back up again Looks nice,i love these bikes, considering building mine up again, think it rides better than my Gu,im sure i saw this on ebay like a month ago? was it you selling it?
  11. Yeh? your right muel,i guess it was a dumb question to ask really wasn't it? because evryone eventualy get used to their rides with time and then can adjust to suit......
  12. I have noticed that since i became older and came back to trials i've also lost my man plums,it's also since i fractured my ankle a few months ago on a motorbike ...........finding that im also shit at riding untill i've rode a bit then warmed up,does anyone else have that? then if you stop for a while and rest you start to feel all achey and heavy?? or is that just me?? tell me please
  13. I lowered it and found it a little awkward,im finding things a little harder on the longer bike too,my mates are saying that i'm just not tryin hard enough as im really considering going back to my czar ivan frame,im going to give it a month on the Gu,if i don't start feeling at home i'm going to go back to the shorter ivan,i was really starting to improve on the czar but i always wanted a Gu..... At the moment i have risen the stem height up again and i shall persevere, thanks for your help lads,i dont suppose i help myself much by changing bikes and frames so frequently either though as im never getting used to one set-up,one month it's an old megamo mod, then an onza t-pro,then the czar stock, and now all my stock parts onto the typhoon frame, should have stuck with old faithull czar shouldnt i??
