  1. its an echo hi fi, think the longest one they do on tarty but is classed as a stock stem on there has a lot of rise so no stem stackers at all, im not sure of any of the geo as i dont have my toolbox for my tape measure atm, looks ok on the adamant but i feel so over the front now, hmm just going tohave to see if i can get used to it i guess as i cant afford another stem atm ........
  2. Hi peeps, don't really know if this has been touched upon in here before, but basicaly iv jus got an adamant a1 modstock, it's a short, and when i ride i feel all cramped up on it, i never had a problem with my czar stock which was 1080 wheelbase with high bb, im about 5'9 in height, i think my stem is too short, i also ride a 221 ti mod and im fine on that and thats a ittle mod, so was thinking what if i put my echo hifi stem on the adamant? it's not a ridicolously long stem as it is, but you can tell it's probably best suited to my monty lol, has anyone ever tried using a long stem on a stock or modstock? help! please! because my back hurts from being hunched up riding, by the way currently on the adamant im using czar risers, could i sove my problem by just using more stem stackers?
  3. LMAO just let him pull his own pants down to get ass raped by the moderators, he's clearly not understanding what you're trying to tell him about rules and regs, look fella, if you want to get validated you have to abide by the rules, im not going to copy and paste them for you, simply becauseyou should just find them and read them yourself, posts like a f/s in nmc is not going to get you validated, and whinging like a little baby saying " i cant i'm not validated yet " will also blow you're chances and makes you look foolish because you just put yourself in a vicious circle, trust me, i was in your position not too long back, abide by the forum rules and you will be fine, also you wont be in the firing line for full members like me Good luck from now with your validation, im hoping i don't come across as too bigga an arse, just trying to get you to notice where you're going wrong Oh really nice echo by the way , id buy it but i just bought a monty 221 ti frame and im building that up
  4. Hey,got a little problem on my mates dj bike,he has a specialised p1,bought from online used, and the front brake was off the bike,it's a hayes hydraulic, and the problem is the dj'3s are post fit on the fork leg, also so is the mounts on the caliper,it wont just bolt straight on,so obviously an adaptor is required, but which one? i tried a hayes adaptor that was left over from when i changed from hayes to hope, that didnt work, does anybody know which adaptor is required, please tell me because it's driving me insane lol...links would be nice, its for dj'3s nd a 6" rotor...thanks
  5. yeh my mate had one years ago for trials, werent very good, but originally they were brought out with suspension for dual slalom,i'll leave a reply back also once i ride it down my local slalom/freeride park,i think it will be ok being honest as it's quite twitchy
  6. Haha yeh i know joel,i quit not long after he had started, you know how it went down, cars, girls, clubbing etc took over then, but yeh if i ride london i like joel to be there, the rago muffin reppin ldn lol,and i do ride with joe quite a lot, just havent seen him too much lately,he got a gorgeous new white leeson 24 now....oooh Hey fella, yeh that's kinda the plan,i've only jus built it up being honest, and the gear is a little bit too hard, but im sure once im hooning down the slalom course at chicksands i'll be fine,i'm hoping to go ride london in a few weeks, perhaps maybe after as you say, riding dual for a bit...my mates buyin a dirt jump bike too so he can come chicksands I want to start coming out more to different places aswel, meet new riders My slalolm slab haha
  7. Lol funny you should say that mate,we were absolutely swamped in BMX'ers today, all trying their flatland stuff out, personally though i really do enjoy the riders i spend time with, but there hardly ever out,and the trials community in bedford is small I love it when i ride in london,i look everywhere and just feel all excited, but iv been so skint lately i have been stuck riding in bedford, can't wait to go back to london, also hate that i have to ride 4-5miles on my czar just to get to the only decent riding place here,im knackered before i start..... Iv just built up a bike for dual slalom, freeride etc..... just experimenting with gearing as im running it single speed, than im going to concentrate on that for a bit,and get in odd rides on the czar
  8. This is short and sweet, but i really want you guys/gals feedback on this,ok this is how it is.....basicaly i've improved, improved a lot! can get up higher obstacles, balance better,do most stuff from static........... but now i feel like im doing the same thing over, and over, and over.....and i don't feel like i'm getting anywhere and after just 5months or so back riding,i feel like hanging the gloves up already, terrible attitude i know, and i'v spent soo much money too and wont make half of it back selling my bikes.....theres things i want to try,but i havent either got the balls for or just cant grasp the concept of how it's done to practice them, things like hooks and big taps, big gaps im struggling with too and no matter how hard i try,no matter how much effort i put in i still fail and end up having to true my wheel or replace a tube......don't want to give up,just wondering wether anyone else has had this feeling, and if you did, then what way did you go about it? Thanks guys
  9. Finished now got to get it to chicksands! Has anybody had one of these for dirt, dual, freeride etc?? if you have tell me how it was please, lol i remember when i was riding years ago when i first showed intrest in trials,i so badly wanted one of these, now this one with its spec back then would have been my dream bike haha..
  10. Wanted to have a blast at dual slalom again so got this old skool monster, bought it off here a little while ago, ...........basicaly kept frame, forks and front wheel,seat....although seats being replaced very soon because it's crap ha! .Saracen x-tort .Marazzochi bombers(not sure what they are) .Brand new rear halo combat wheel .Azonic dw bars .Awaiting azonic world force shorty stem .Hope minis .Truvative dirt jump ISIS drive crankset/38t chainring .Single speed kit 16t .Old 105 short cage rear mech lol(to aid tension) .Continental diesel 2.5 rear tyre/maxxis 2.35 front .Shit pedals ...till i get my white dmr v8's .Awaiting new white mrp rollers for chain device, white azonic grips Be nice to hear people say these frames are ok for dirt... lol ....it's not complete in these pics,i'll add more decent ones when it's finished, looking forwards to tryin to snap it so i can buy an identiti Jekyl

  16. would a tensile long arm tensioner do for my dirt rig?? its an old skool saracen x-tort i bought off here the other day...it has a tensioner and mrp style chain guide on the bb,but the derailleur on it at the moment is shagged..so need a replacement.....and because im thinking of just going single speed with a hard gear for freeride and jump i was considering the tensile tensioner with a long cage?? help please
  17. If they are original 4bolt magura clamps you could always try filing the little tab bits off from the top half of each clamp, this will allow them to clamp down more,i had this problem then after i done that they have never slipped again, try it and let me know how it goes
  18. Im coming too, going to meet joel first then think we going to meet up with you guys?
