Did you sell it to tristan then? i bought of his mate kyle , but through tristan, kyles got a brand new because 20" frame now. Lol fair enough mate, each one to their own ...... Yep, going to get fluoro green rims ready for summer, tbf i don't really like the rims either, especialy the gold one, also wanting to get a front hope mono and buy a new rear maggie, most probably a white one.
-
Haha this is true, although saying that, when i had a go on it in milton keynes, it had different stem on it, it was a shorter one, werent too sure of the rise though, so thinkin perhaps maybe this echo stem is possibly too long, i dont know tbf as i have only rode it once, it felt ok, jus need to try it, get used to it etc and then go from there, also i jus kinda like the try all stem, think the grey colour of the stem will suit the bike, kinda liking try all's new 3d mod stem. Thanks, so you dont like my 09 forks, and fresh new trialtech bars then? Any ideas on things that will make it look better mate? different colour components etc?
-
Thanks Im considering getting fluoro green rimset for it ready for summer, but failing that i will get a matching gold rim
-
Yeah i love these frames too, always wanted one since they brought them out, this ones longer than the normal ones i think, correct me if im wrong though haha Erm........ someone told me that the stem im using is not a mod one and that it is for a stock bike with a hi bb rise, so decided im going to buy a new one that i know for sure is for a mod bike
-
Got this proto frame off a mate to try out, i rode it in Milton Keynes and decided it was nice feeling when on the back wheel, so bought it and recently built it up, intrested to know peoples opinions on it, going to get a try all nuc stem on it soon
-
+1 my lite 08's powdercoated in some strange purple/black colour, it's horrid lol, your lite looks nice buddy all about the silver Any idea on how i can remove the powdercoating? ...

Thats not too bad fella, iv been riding about 8months or so now since i took trials back up, and im just ahead on things but not by far.... balance has recently got better, only just tried riding along narrow walls to be fair, pedal ups now are quite above bar height, 6 blue pallets or so, bunnyhops are not good as i dont tend to do them, sidehop probs about 4 blue pallets, and as for gapping, im useless lool, can gap about 6ft! i cannot do up to fronts as im originaly an old skool rider, everything was straight to back wheel to me when i was learning 10years ago haha, so nose diving onto things to front wheel then tryin to wheel swap is alien to me, but im starting to get therem have to arrange a ride soon buddy, somewhere up north, and get luke out too, and obv others
-
Haha yep! i think you do! in the photo where he's on the back wheel on the rock with the arm extension! .......... eww blow your nose Lukey
-
I strongly believe that Luke has only been riding the ammount of time he suggests, if you watch his first ever video again he has no balance at all unless he's actualy in a move, say for instance a sidehop, he's very wobbly before, and after the move, and the main thing that people learn when riding trials, just the same as i had to, is balance, so to me it does'nt seem too plausable when Luke says he's only been riding a matter of months, how long have you been riding now revolver? and what kind of stage are you at? general friendly question by the way haha Luke, i can't beleive you want to swap bikes already, you only just got that adamant off me you big oaff
-
Looking good luke, haha how is he cheating? he's learning fast thats all, keep it up, you'l be beasting it in no time, have to admit though, you are pulling some funny faces
-
Hahahaha awesome so funny!
-
Off you go, improving again and again, looking pretty sweet on your up to fronts already, better than me for that matter haha, glad your liking the Adamant Hmm?? i'm considering gettin another stock now, whilst still keeping the echo lite I intend on riding a lot of natty this summer when possible so the mod will be good for that, oh and it'lbe good when you can come ride london with us Lukey poos
-
Sweet thanks mate, ill order a bar and stem set soon, i liked the look of the rise on those viz bars too, but a friend said they were too short in width, anyone used a set of them at all and how do you get on with them??
-
hey, im 5"9, and i ride street mainly, also considering new risers soon so if you know a good bar/stem combo please let me know
-
Need some help on deciding on a mod stem, it's for an echo lite long, 07/08 i think, has an echo stem on it atm but i'v been informed that it's a stem for a stock bike with a hi bb rise, so yeh, i'm needing to buy another one, bike came with the stem on it and being honest it does feel a little awkward to ride sometimes, so any help will be brilliant, thanks Craig

Hey Tom, nice vid, got a small glimpse of my old czar ivan in that aswell whilst mr haig was rollin' past the camera lol, Any chance you and joel are out in london sunday coming up?
-

-

-
No worries mate By the way im working in mansfield at the moment but just sorting a different job in manchester for the next week, it looks like theres some good spots in mansfield, me and my mate i work with are coming back on that job after new year or possibly before christmas and my mate rides trials too, if you want to we'l bring our bikes and can meet up and ride in the evenings or something? haha beats just staying in the mansfield lodge hotel let me know what you think mate
-
nice one luke, much better than me when i first started trying sidehops about 4months ago lol it's funny that i started riding again 8months ago and only just started trying newer moves recently, im so old skool haha, all i did was pedal up's to back wheel and gaps haha, but now im trying wheel swaps and taps on my adamant A1, .................................. but seriously thats very good for someone who has just started riding, keep that up and you will go far mate
-
i own this bad boy now, only problem is it hasnt got this bar and stem combo anymore, which to be honest looks suited to the bike, sooo has anyone got any suggestions on a bar n stem combo for me? im thinking white trialtech risers for bars as i had some before on my czar and loved them, but not sure on which stem, length, rise etc?? suggestions welcome please
-
Erm i think its the low rise bb like yours, i'll have to check properly, it's an 07 a1 with the welded brake booster in the frame, thats about all i know, and obv that its a short, im gonna try what you suggest though matt, and go with making the bars higher, and deffo removing that mod stem, jeez what was i thinking?! lool, i have a last resort stem for now which is really short ameoba one, but that will be just for now, yeh as for your barrs, i had white set of those trialtech risers on my czar stock, absolutely loved them, sooo comfy might just buy another set of those soon, erm any suggestion on a stem? just going to look for pics of the actual adamant i have from when my mate bought it from the guywho had it, its a lot different now though, ill add the link in a sec via quick edit. link to images of exact adamant: http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....p;hl=adamant+a1 still pretty much the same apart from stem, bars and forks.
-
Yep long stem has made the handling horrible , and the other stem i had on it is deffo way too short, i need to happy medium it and i suppose as you said, add some more height then see how it goes, it's bizzare because i never used to hunch over on my czar ivan, my forks are a set of zoo ones with the maggie mount on the back and i dont really feel that they are a problem, perhaps some better bars are needed also? with more rise as the czar ones im using may aswel be flats lol, oh and i really werent in the position of choosing frame to be honest, i threaded a brake mount on my monty and till i get it fixed i wanted something to ride, so the adamant came up from a mate quite cheap, so really just wanna make it as comfy as poss, thanks for your reply though
