Ok, so finally got the Ashton mostly finished after owning it for almost three weeks, she's almost there, just a few more bits to do, basicaly going to show a picture of it when i got it, with red seat, red rim tapes, shite pedals, crap stem etc, and the rest of the pictures are the changes i have made, hope people agree that shes mint as fook and she's a pretty bike. Haha! i thought that because my mates running those Tnn Lgm's squarely on a grind and iv felt them, theyre epic! I cant decide between Tnn cnc backings with Rockblue material, or Tristans suggesting phatpads in cnc backings to me, hmmm decisions decisions! helllllp! either way i'll be using Echo TR clamps and a light grind.

Thanks Mark, Im going to bite the bullet and get white Plasticote tommorrow morning and spray it tommorrow night, im confident with my spraying, i was just concerned about it possibly fading through like i mentioned, only because my legs rub on the fender. But you are right, at least it will be on there, colour scheme will be well underway then as i have ordered white rim tapes, and nice new black Echo sl axle washers with bolts from Tarty for my front hub, to get rid of a tacky Trialtech skewer lol ( front Hope hub's axle has been tapped out to take bolts ) just hope they are M6 because i have just assumed and not checked :/ , my mate ordered me some white DMR V8 pedals from you guys too. Also ordered from CRC a gunsmoke 2010 Hope cnc stem to hopefully match my pewter pro2 trials rear hub, all new parts should arrive tommorrow / Friday morning so will be fitted by Fri evening, i'll get pics up as soon as it's finished, she's mint for an old Ashton, so clean, still like new. Do you think the Hope stem i have ordered at 90mm x 10deg will be suitable for the Ashton? im about 5" 9 with long arms and legs (lanky haha ), i have fitted my Trialtech sport risers, current stem is 110mm x 20deg ( too long in my opinion ) i think? it's a fight to keep it on the back wheel hence the decision for shorter, lower rise, i am however no expert on geos etc so that's why i ask, i have only had the bike a few weeks, just making it right for me and pimping it out ...... And how much did Stan mess his one up? and how? haha, any pictures?

Not a bad idea, but as you say it's a little time consuming to get it perfect, still would much prefer it if i could buy one off one of the forums members.

Im looking for a white Ashton Justice fender for my stock Justice, iv spoken to Martyn about one but he confirms with me that they dont sell them singly, i cant find any anywhere so thought id turn to you guys, has anyone got one floating around in good condition and still clean (not bent up and scratched, worn or dirty ) , desperately wanting one as im eliminating red out of my color scheme! ( I already have a red one fitted ) Hope someone can help me out, im almost positive that someones snapped or cracked a Justice frame and had the white fender fitted and has it laying about idle in their garage/shed, please dont let me take white plasticote to mine Cheers guys

Or strip the frame back to silver? Tbf im looking to swap her for a stock bike asap, so will be down to whoever re-homes her to sort that out f they want to, but if i dont get a swap i'll deffo be taking the powdercoat off the frame as some point

Stripped paint off it now, machine polishing to be done this week , this bike along with a load of parts and two frames is up for sale as a bundle, look in please guys.

Heya Steve, if im completely honest, i rode MK once and thought it as boring lol, i saw you that time i rode MK, i was with tristan and kyle outside xscape and we were chatting to you, i was on the dark coloured echo lite, was just coming into evans to buy a helmet, see you got our speedrace all built up, it's looking lush

Thankyou, yeah you're right, seems like there is a lot of onza pototypes being ridden out there, seen quite a lot of proto limey 2's on here, i quite like the limey 2 if im being honest, there was one on here for sale that came with a fluoro green wheel and a rear mono trial, was very tempted by that you know It is verrrrrry long lol, theres so much bike to throw up there when i tap for instance, really have to stretch my arms out into a huge extension and tuck my legs up quite a lot so the rear wheel gets on top of things, good practice though i guess, i was riding an echo lite long aswell before i built this up, still may go back to it if i can't adapt to the length of this ice, but if i do become used to the ice then the lite frame will be up for sale.
