I'm in, This best be a good ride because it will be my last in England for 3 months as i'm going back over to Guernsey to work again on the 8th march and the bike is coming with me, So i could do with a really good ride before i go........ i'm sure you lot won't let me down

oops sorry i ment i'm going to run the disc brake to see what its like as i have never used a disc before, i was wondering what the power is like on the magura disc

Whilst riding today i bailed on some pallets and managed to snap my front magura lever body on the mount which holds it to the handle bar, (i know i've tighten it to tight, which i must add i hardly ever do but i didn't realise they were that tight) it would be so much of a problem but they are the green maguras and i can't find any green lever body, so i brought these http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...e=STRK:MEWAX:IT have i made the right choice?

I've got a series 3 1974 landrover that i'm currently doing up (last 3 years) i go through stages where i really want to work on it for like 2 days then don't touch it for 2 months, just can't find the monatavion to finish it, i got it as a non runner and managed to get it running after about 2 days in the end it needed new points and condenser and the fuel lines needed cleaning, since then i've put a new head gasket and vavle seals in it new exhaust brake shoes all round, new front seats and light guards that are home made. All that is left to do is rear leaf springs (which i have) and some welding (if its weldable) anyway here is some pictures.

I got mine the start of january and i'm now getting 12k pretty much everytime but can't get it any faster, anyone got any quick tips they would like to share? here a embarrassing picture to prove my score...... come on let me see you faces aswell (can't be as bad as mine) otherwise i could think that you just got the picture of the powerball off the internet!

i did look at the list, but just by looking at another topic i know that mr brodie + naffiee waffiee are not going so i was just wondering who else has pulled out. But not to worry i think i'm just going to ride local now anyway )

I got the powerball signature series, to be honest i don't think it would be worth getting this one as it's £27.99 and the only difference is it has lights as it spins, But if you do get a powerball definitely make sure its got a dital counter on it so it records the spins, My hightest score so far is 12120

although it looks like a pylon, its not actually a pylon its a gibbett near newbury where they used to hang people, if you look closely you can see the wire which is holding up the bike (this could be why you think its a pylon as it looks abit like a overhead cable)

Just an update on the ashton, As i've put some new parts on it ( rohloff chain tensioner - phatpads and backings - magura braided hose, which could do with abit of a trim - tryall caged pedals - hope team green headset)

Cheers for the reply. In that case i'll have to finish the dvd off as i've still got 15minutes of recording time left and i don't want to waste the disc space. give me a good excuse to ride my bike more often

do i have to finalize the disc first??

i've got a hitachi dvd camcorder and i can't work out how toview the dvd through a dvd player. should it be as simple as just putting straight from the recorder to the dvd player?

i just got a hope team green one off ebay for £50, they do go for cheaper it you only want silver or something, just a thought if you don't want to spend alot but want a decent headset??
