  1. Hey man, it's Thom (24" Rider) - was great to bump into you earlier today! It'd be good to meet up for a ride again soon - let me know next time you're coming to London!
  2. awesome riding, Tim! And really cool vid! Good to see some clips in there from the ride in London the other day!
  3. Sneakily watched this while I was 'working' today - really, really enjoyed it! Similarly, I had a couple of work mates (who aren't trials-freaks) glued to my screen at the end of the work day, really loving every moment! Great coverage, incredible riding! Looking forward to more. Andei's commentary was really great, but I agree with another post, that it would be even better still if there was another commentator, so they could bounce off each other. And Jack being 15?!? What the hell! INCREDIBLE! - I had no sense of national pride of from the weekend's regal festivities, but Jack made me stand, salute, and bring a tear to my eye. T
  4. Hey, I live in south London. There aren't so many great riding spots near here, but come and check it out. Are you looking for a place to crash?
  5. I guess now he won't be able to satisfy those girls who were all over him at the start! I was so nuts for revolution / evolve back when they came out. Good to see he's still riding some great stuff. On another note, is that Ryan leech at the start? I know those two were something of a double-team back in evolve / revolution
  6. awesome vid! that chainless stuff is nuts! Plus, with that mop hair and that soundtrack, this feels straight outta the 70's! Bonus! That incredible riding definitely warrants some higher production values, but an amazing vid none the less!
  7. incredible riding! I've never seen any of your vids before. Gotta say, I'm loving those enormous gaps at the trial park!
  8. cool vid matt! 'nuff fisheye in there, bro! Awesome riding!
  9. cool, ok, now everyone's let off a load of testosterone: I guess I'll go about trying to find a place that'll helicoil, I had no idea what kinda cost I could expect to pay, so yeah, if it's around £5 a bolt then it's a no brainer. In my defence, 2 of the 4 maggy bolts where f**ked when I got the bike. Which brings me to my next question: what kinda place should I go to for helicoiling? I'm not confident enough to do it myself with a kit. Car garage? bike workshop? Should anyone know of any such place around south london se5 please let me know Would appreicate any input. What's with all the aggrovation on this forum anyway? I though we were just here to help each other out, not wave our dicks around.
  10. Hey, my rear magura mount now has 3 of 4 bolts stripped, now I have just messed another. The newly stripped one is at the point where putting the bolt in will strip it further. Do I: a) Find somewhere that will helicoil it? (nr south east london) or throw it into a burning skip laughing? It's a Czar Ivan stock. It's a nice frame, I like the geo, weight etc. But I'm guessing it won't cost the earth to replace it with something similar. Let me know what you think!
  11. Hey, a few of us from London are coming down very shortly. I know it's wildly late notice, but if anyone from down that way fancies a ride it'd be good to meet up. Gimme a call 07866691040 Tom
  12. Nice, cheers man. It'd be good to go for a ride soon! T
  13. Hey, I spotted a trials rider today (oddly I was on the bus to the bike store to pick up my trials bike after a few repairs) Riding on Walworth Road, in Camberwell, near a pub called the castle, and Edwards bike store. He was riding a stock, maybe a Zoo pitbull, but deffo Zoo branded. Anyway, if you happen to read this, get in touch, always good to meet another local rider! - we're running low on numbers in South East London. Cheers
  14. I've recently done in my wrist / arm. It's come about through either one of 2 things. Either: 1) Trials, or 2) Table Football (!) Wierd as it may seem, I genuinely think pains have initially come through over-zealous swings on the table football table. I haven't hit the table since, however trials is pretty excrutiating now. At first it just felt like the muslces in the wrist, but that's subsided now, and the bone on the outside of the forearm ('Ulna' if Wikipedia serves me right) hurts when I go up on the back wheel. And the bone feels slightly brittle, like it may be fractured, though I have no idea as to how I may have come to fracture it. The pain is not constant thankfully. The handlebars are lifted whilst gripping with the 3rd, 4th and 5th fingers and it feels like this is a contributing factor to the pain. Just wondering if anyone out there has had any similar experiences? If I have genuinely fractured through playing foosball, then I could well be in the running for the most hardcore foosballer.
  15. Ok, here's my offering. Based on one of the best films ever! oops, that was a bit big, here's a smaller version!
  16. just curious, but I regularly here kids watching me ride say something on the lines of 'he's doing what those guys who came to our school did' with the words 'bruv' 'brap' 'blud' and 'cuz' at various points throughout the sentence. Who's been demoing at schools? and have they done tons of schools or something? cause I'm pretty sure I've quite a few kids say this? Today the same kids said I wasn't as good as Danny Mac and that not being able to wheelie due to no seat makes me kinda suck. I went home and cried for the rest of the day. I still can't look at myself in the mirror.
  17. Cheers very much, I'll get my hands a T10 + T25. Thanks
  18. Ok, so it turns out I need a few TORX screwdrivers- what sizes would I need for- -the resevoir cap for a hope mono trial? - and the bolts holding my disc brake to the hub thanks very much in advance.
  19. Congrats on the winning design dude! It looks cool. It must be cool to have your say in how the money's spent, and a trial park is an awesome idea. It's also cool that they're willing to do that, and not just build a library or a 'regional boredom for youth centre' or something. Good stuff mate.
  20. just posted up Lee's drop gap from the ride in vids: http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=147996
  21. Didn't get much shooting done on sunday, but this deffo warranted capturing: http://vimeo.com/9308597 Great ride guys n' gays.
  22. Hey, I'll try to get the video clip online soon as I can. Unfortunely didn't really shoot much throughout the ride. Did someone get the email of that girl with the DSLR who was apparently obsessed with us (me) ? It'd be good to see them pics.
  23. Hey, I could well be up for this. Don't think I've ever ridden with any of you guys before, but if one of you could PM a mobile no and let me know when and where you're all meeting up that'd be sweet. Cheers Tom
