  1. Looked like they were flat bars from the pics My bad! I do really like those frames but i just dont think i could go without a seat! Look nice though.
  2. I had heard from urban legend that there were a few places it was a bit rough like the drill out on the bottom bracket shell. Just wondered if yours was similar? The more i see marino bike the more im impressed with them.
  3. Looks good dude. Change the forks and bars and your on a winner. Quite unusual to see a onza stock! The hitman has the same frame as the t-rex doesnt it? How does it ride always been intrigued by the onza bikes as to what there like. What spec are you runnin?
  4. IMO no there not really, dont get me wrong they are good hubs, fantastic build quality, good pick up and uber bling. Some riders swear by them and wont use anything else on their bikes. But you can get just as many EP's as a king with a good freewheel and fixed hub for half the price. I would say hope hubs are worth it though. I never got on with their brakes but i have had several of there hubs front and rear and all have been fantastic. But if you have silly amounts of cash then get em just cuz you can!
  5. Lovely bike dude! nice colours, good simple build. I like very much!
  6. Forgot to ask what the finish was like on the frame?
  7. What the geo of that bad boy? Im really wavering on weather or not to buy a 24" or stick with a street 26"? Grrr ! But that is a lovely bike you got there. Make sure you ride her well!
  8. The ashton is supposed to be one of the best stock bike around i have yet to talk to someone who doesnt like the way they ride. As for the onza you didnt say which one, was it the t-rex, the limey 2/3 or the spyragyra or the old t-raptor? The t-rex is virtually indestructable from what i gather.
  9. Spray the frame white then spray it orange through a pair of fish net tights i saw it done once on a suzuki gsxr streetfighter and it looked awesome.
  10. Belive it or not that is rover blue! it rides quite nice really short needs a good back wheel though.
  11. DANNY MACASKILL IS A TRIALS RIDER! just look at some of his earlier videos when he was ridin that echo, he did plenty of tgs moves, but because he is doing something different everyone shuns him. Akrigg does things differently but no one bad mouths him. Just the other day i was talkin to 3 bmx'ers and a dirt rider and as soon as i asked have they seen the latest Danny Mac video they all went "oh the guy on the inspired trials bike" if i had said Ot Pi they wouldnt of had a clue. Danny has done more promoting trials than some of these "proper" trials riders he is pushing the boundry and isnt what this sport is about?
  12. i did have a selle italia carbon/Ti saddle on there and its nice and light and slim. But as my missus rides this to the pub with me every weekend i had to swap it for something more comfortable for her! it does bunnyhop rather well manuals nice too.
  13. This is my trials bike i know its far from ideal but she does for now. Its got different brakes now though! And this is my GT before i killed my forks! whadda you think? Dont be too harsh it'll make me cry! LOL
  14. This is my actual face and not a helmet lol!
  15. Killswitch Engage End of heartache. And now its changed to The butterfly effect A slow desent.
  16. Mmmmmmmmmmm reminds me of the old pashleys. Looks sick as man. bikes like that make me want a streety 26". Do mavic still make those rims in that lush grey colour? I still got an old mavic 521 cd on red hope mono at home, want another one to match it.
  17. oh its Andrei is it? i couldnt make out who it was. sorry i cant find a link for the advert guys
  18. who has seen the sky ride advert? danny mac does a tailwhip bunnyhop in the ad and there is also another rider in the ad but i couldnt see who it was. Anyone else seen it?
  19. Trials isnt as "cool" as some of the dissaplines of mountainbiking. so it doesnt have as much appeal. My girlfriend for example thinks supermoto racing is boring!!!!!!! But she loves freestyle motocross. And thats the difference if one is hugely popular and one isnt then they will see it as the less popular or less exposed and under publisised one there is not as good. and i think its the same with trials its not as in your face as downhill or 4x.
  20. Im in a similar possition mate. Im about to make the leap and a get a marino 24" i come from a street/dirt/DH background and i think ill enjoy it. So be brave and go for it. If you dont.... so what sell it and get a stock bike its not the end of the world is it?
  21. just be bold with it man. Pick a lairy or unusual colour and roll with it. Im goin bright yellow with black and white components.
  22. 1 frame 11 rims 8 rear 3 front 1 crank arm 3 disc rotors 1 set of handlebars 1 set of forks 1 seat post countless chains 2 rear mechs (not on trials bikes i may add.) My worst crash to date was bout 6 years ago. I was downhilling on my fave spot when i came through an off camber rooty corner through an old farmers gate at quite a rate when i was confronted by a woman walking her dog. I swerved hit the brakes, smashed into a tree, flew over the bars and got tangled in a barbed wire fence!
  23. its a nice idea. The frame looks very TGS in design and looks. Not sure if its going the right way for street though, most riders want a more stripped down look with less cluter as its less to mangle in urban enviroments, where bikes take a lot of punnishment. I personally dont like it as a street bike it doesnt look quite right. But kudos to the guy for being bold and taking a leap. nice ideas on it like the brake mount ideal in comp situations and stops a rider knockin cylinders out of line or snapping cross overs.
