  1. To be honest there both an art form! But jokin apart they would both be fine for frames. Gary Curtis fillet brazes his frames and Marino TIG's his frames. Either is fine. Gas welding equipment is cheaper than TIG but its up to you. Good luck with the frame building mate.
  2. Dude there so cool! I hope things go well for him prehaps you could talk him in to making you some one off bling for your steed!
  3. Sorry didnt put that as clearly as i thought! I ment like Leeson's and the old Pashley Mhz and Curtis bikes. Skinny tubes, clean lines no excess machining ect. I guess i just ment steel bikes really. Pointless post really sorry about that!!!
  4. Have u tried Tarty's? Their neon stockists arent they?
  5. Also someone to make an uber clean, fresh, sleek lookin frame in the same way bmx's are. And for pashley to make a 24.

  10. That is uber cool man love the wheels!
  11. Its lush mate it just needs a set of 'burns or some race face turbine lp's with a filthy 'ard guard to finish it perfectly!
  12. Troy Lee Designs xc Hebo trial Kona xc (very similar to the TLD but cheaper!)
  13. The magura louise is a good brake. I've never personally used one on the rear but have done on the front. I'd say there about 95% as powerful as a hope not as much feel though a touch wooden prehaps but they are a fair bit cheaper too so you get what you pay for. Several manufacturers have used them on their full builds so their not completely useless! If you can live without that glass like infiniate modulation of the hope brakes the louise is very good, i used a braided hose and sintered pads which helped also. But its down to you mate.
  14. No but i've broken 2 then had em capped!
  15. I keep a couple of links from each one on the inside of the lid of my toolbox as kind of a trophy
  16. Mk 1 fourplay had a 1035mm wheelbase and a +35mm BB Mk 2 fourplay & element has a 1020mm wheelbase and a +20mm BB

  20. I did that on my old Azonic, you will need to make the gap bigger though all i did was drill between the flanges with a M6 drill bit and it worked a treat.
