If your after a half link chain, i,d reccomend the Shadow Conspiracy half link. I ran one for 3 years and beat the living shit out of it and it never failed.
Things like grips, saddles, pedals. Things like that you could buy cheap.
Things like freewheels, brakes, chains ect. They are what you want to spend money on!
If anybody is coming past Andover could anybody swing in and pick me up saves me a 2hr 38min train journey petrol money goes without saying would be fantastic and much appreciated.
Maxxis all the way. Best street tire i've used, i personally dont think the moto rt's are that bad but certainly not as good as the holyroller. Also the schwalbe crazy bob is a nice grippy solid tire but is quite heavy.
This is why i have suggested a freewheel sticky like we have for brake pads. But to answer the question the Trialtech is not the worst out on the market but there are better. The try-all is very good as is the Eno. I havent ridden the SL or Trialtech personally so i couldnt really tell you which one to go and buy as that would be irrisponsible. But of all the reviews i've read the SL is the best on the market, the Trialtech is good but does skip from time to time. But at the end of it all its your choice bud.
