  1. If your frame has v brake lugs stick with v brakes as magura evo mounts are a sod! From what i have been told inspired pads are good for smooth rims and street riding. Other than that i sorry i cant be more help.
  2. Hmmmm lets see. Ali C is one of the most proment riders around in the UK why else would Inspired bicycles ask him to develop there new 26" street TRIALS bike also his riding got him a slot in the Gatorade advert!! Danny Macaskill THE most well known rider in the world right now! Nearly 25 million views cant be argued with. He has made national news papers, and Volkswagon one of the biggest car manufacturers in the world want him to promote their wears. Cant be bad, Kenny beleay as you describe A "REAL" trials rider also appeared in the adidas Advert riding a 24" STREET bike! Now i maybe wrong but these examples has brought trials into the public eye in a positive way rather than the moody Douche bags in the high street with a tape measure next to a wall then getting the hump when (some) people ask them to move on politely then that is NOT good for our sport! Call it what you want but it is down to the individual what they define is trials as and if that is what they enjoy more to them! Rant over!
  3. Thats true actually thay was prehaps too much of a vague generalization.
  4. Your average 24" is heavier than your average 26" so the why are people scared of stocks arguement is kinda redundant. Its mainly down to wheelbase and flicky geo.
  5. No and to be honest before anybody says it the extra few grams wont be noticeable!!
  6. To be fair there is more than enough screw on cranks on the market to suit everyone from uber light comp riders to beasty street bashers! What trials needs is products that when you see it you think " how have we done without that!" I'd like to see Trialtech cranks in that oh so cool gunmetal grey colour and also white would be awesome.
  7. Oh here we go the "street isnt proper trials arguement" will the "24" riders should just buy a bmx" comment appear too?
  8. Thats the thing though the 24" market has become more complex now in a similar way that mods and stocks have. You have the street side which have short, low'ish BB frames and slightly longer frames with higher BBs and also then you have the comp based frames. Also you have the custom option aswell its a bit confusing.
  9. Looks super fresh in white.
  10. I know that they are designed for trials but i quite often ride my bike to work (if i can be bothered!) and i wondered if that i was to do so would it wear it out alot faster or not?
  11. Sounds like it should be a cool film when your finished. Kinda sounds like you want to make a leaps and bounds type film but not with the big pro riders.
  12. 12mm on the rear isnt it and 20mm on the front? I dread to think what will cost when (if) its released. Nah i was serious about the 20mm being stiff but i ment the rest wont catch on.
  13. All those newer frames are designed for 18-15 gearing. So you will probably need new cranks.
  14. It will be really nice to finally meet you guys in person after 2 years of being on the forum and never having made one of the group rides before!
  15. Old school Killswitch Engage, My last serenade. Jesse Leach has an incredible singing voice.
  16. Hmm interesting......... I suppose the 20mm bolt through on the back would be mega stiff for trials but other than that cant see it catching on
  17. How do you get to the guild hall from the train station? I dont know Portsmouth at all!
