  1. I think red, white and black would of been absolutely perfect the green hubs and gold pedals let it down. The graphics are not my taste but each to there own.
  2. The thing i cant understand is that with exception of middleburn no one makes 5 arm cranks anymore yet manufacturers still pump out 5 bolt bashrings. Blackspire, dmr, gusset, ect. Doesnt really make sense to me.
  3. About 10 years ago me and my mate bmx Steve were putting in a few laps at the local bmx track and some pikeys were firing stones at us and some younger kids with a catapult they shot this nipper (9-10 yrs old) in the face me and steve went after them chased the back to their caravan where one pulled a 22 air rifle on us my mate steve got it off him and smacked him with it they ran off again. The next day the coppers moved em on after they had wrecked the bmx track and burned down the skate park!!!
  4. Earlier TR's were a bit unreliable. They had a tendency to leak due to swarf in the lever and cylinders but have gotten much better in recent years. The magura's are very solid and dependable but they will fail or break from time to time as they are not trials specific having said that ALOT of riders use them with no problems whatsoever. The tolerences and finish of the echo's are of a higher standard but even they may go wrong from time to time. The magura is significantly cheaper than the TR and performance wise there will be little or know difference in fairness Its your choice though dude, in short.. Magura, cheap, safe, reliable. Echo, more blingy and more expensive.
  5. How much are your custom frames just out of interest?
  6. Shimano xtr levers are good but have a pretty hefty price tag that i personally cant justify. In all fairness i cant rate the sd7 highly enough. I've ran them on my trials bike and now on my hardtail and i love them.
  7. Nice one Luke. Dude that is an awesome bike, mega jealous of that bike!
  8. any chance you could post a couple on here as i cant get the link to work
  9. It not only us, the Aussies have their front brake on the right too. Its a good question though one to think about! The motorbike theory seems the most likely for us but the rest of the world is a mystery!
  10. Wow! Thats awesome! I would of never of thought to colour my bike the same colour as my brake pads!!! Would of been even better if they were cousts:D
  11. Close please. Lets just all go ride our TRIALS bikes and be happy that we can. Peace and love F**KERS
  12. Intergrated tensioners on more frames like ones on the Rockman Tractor.
  13. A modern Red bull bike battle is what you getting at right??
  14. If only you made a Mk1 t-rex style stock in those colours that would be my perfect bike!!
  15. Thats awesome! That is the best colour scheme i've seen!
  16. Rhino lites are ment to be mega strong too. But like i say D521's were the bomb wish i still had some kicking around.
  17. I HATE!!!! Holey rims! They just look silly imo. If you want lighter rims dont make em so f**k wide! The legendary mavic D521cd is still the best rim i've used to this day. Shame there's no 24" version.
  18. Its sooo nice to see riders feel the same as me, makes me all tearful and nostalgic! But seriously a few modern conviniences are good for old school bikes ie, better brake pads, better hubs/freewheels but other than that meh!
  19. The nae sayers here seem to me like they have a case of the green eyed monster. Man kind in general tends to critisize and make light of things they dont understand or cant do themselves.
  20. I hope it goes that way it seemed more fun back then. Alot of riders take it too serious these day. But as somebody said to me a little while ago 24s are the new old school!
  21. I agree to a point that street trials isnt pure trials (ie how the sport started) but i belive it is trials none the less.
