  1. Pro 2 for the ultimate win then? Would 18-12 be really hard for 24"?
  2. The ribbed bmx grips are the only ones i can get on with, foam ones feel awful to me and mtb and lock ons feel way too hard.
  3. +1 thats where i end in a heap in the floor on the remount!
  4. Hmmm i see conspiracies arising here for quite some time to come!
  5. Who's the Yanks bogey man gunna be now! This could well open a whole Pandora's box of trouble!
  6. I think Hans Rey's frame was modeled on the zaskar frame. I had a chucker and the dropouts on a chucker are different and there is a bigger gap in the seatstay/toptube joint where it makes the signature GT "triple triangle".
  7. Andover = Brian aka "skuzzbucket" Me (although im not a fully fledged trials rider YET!) And a dude called squiddy. And ocasionally my mate Lee when he puts his specialized big hit down long enough! I noticed you didnt have my old home town there Huntly NE scotland. When i lived there i couldnt get over the fact that all the kids there all rode DJ yet there was miles of prime DH everywhere and nobody went near it! No trials riders there i was the only one and the guy in the LBS had never heard of Monty bikes When i took my urban in for a headset! I'd of thought that anyone with a bit knowlege of mtb'ing would of heard of em!
  8. Like wise in Andover there's like 2 of em!
  9. Make sure its TIG welded though dude. Most engineering frims will do it for sod all if its only a wee spot.
  10. Quite possibly. certainly less maintinence. Easier to fix and lighter, spares are cheaper and best of all you dont have to bleed them!
  11. Too true 9 times out of 10 their normally a BMX'er!
  12. I've litterally just swapped over to a v on the rear and its EPIC! The amount of weight i've shed from the rear disc is unreal the bike feels lighter, more spritely and flicky. Love it.
  13. The guy at my local bikehut has loads of Tats and tunnels in both ears. But ring em and see.
  14. Use a FFW and run a DMR revolver hub their strong as f**k trust me
  15. Was googleing 24" trials bike as i'd never heard of them. One of the results was a thread about the fourplay on TF i read it then i joined up as it seemed a good place to learn more about trials.
  16. You must spend ALOT of time on the web man you seem to find some of the funniest images to post on TF!
  17. I have the bikehut branded diatech anchor disc brakes on my rig with a 180mm rotor and its fantastic. I've had it over 2 years now and never let me down pads still have plenty of life in em and never been bled. I mean for £59.99 cant go wrong my friend even conceeded that they have more power than his mono trials.
  18. If your going cable then Avid bb7's are really the only way to go. But try it mate you might be surprised!
  19. Cool keep us posted! What bike you running on just out of interest?
  20. Personally i would reccomend sintered pads they seem to be grippier than organic pads and disperse heat better on the brakes i've used shimano, hayes and hopes.
