to be fair a rim of about 32mm should be ok. The inspired rims should do you though. Dont bother with echo's as i reckon it could cause headaches with pad alignment/heel clearance ect.
Spanner is a good to do it. Personally i use the 4000 tonne press at work! But you probably dont have one of those at home!! I've also used a bench vice too which seems to work.
I'd agree with that. My personal opinion is the Rhino lite xl as there as strong as any other rim out there but silly light too summat like 509g!! Not that matters as much on a street rig as it would a comp bike!
I cant see it being too much of an issue running a cable through the steerer lots of street riders do no problems. If you run a REALLY long cable round the outside but i reckon you will experience alot of cable flex.
The old 14" blunt frames were legendary! Strong as f**k, pretty light, quite short, i had 1 for nearly 4 years then my buddy had it for 2 years and hes a frame killer! I think one of his mates still has it now 8 years on its still running!
Shimano! I have an acera and its great! To be fair there isnt really alot of performance difference between acera, deore, LX and XT brakes prehaps a tad stiffer or a gram or 2 lighter. I've heard alot of stories about avid's not lasting long and the springs being SHITE! I've used all of the above metioned shimano v brakes over the years and i wouldnt use anything else!
Saw the second episode last thursday. Was ok wasnt really enough riding in my opinion. Nice camera shots and some cool locations. And WTF was Kenny street riding on!!
