  1. Chainspotting, sprung 1,2,3,4 and 5 also revolve was another Reed Marchant film.
  2. What ever happened to the proto zoot stock Mr Meek was blasting around on?
  3. Probably my fave trials film. Jeff's epic fail gap over the fence to ruined bike and Ryans busted top tube via his knackers! How trials has moved on these days i think JJ's megamo is the only bike that resembles what people ride today!! Wish i still had a vcr to watch it again!
  4. Hmmmm i dunno Dave? Is it just me or is moto trials "sorta" faster paced than its bike trials counterpart? Maybe just me.
  5. I've got the Halfords own brand one. In fairness its been mega reliable had it 3 years and its not given me a single problem.
  6. Its a sign! Inspired it is then lol
  7. I didnt mean you in particular i ment there are those who have that mentality about it and you did come across that way (maybe not intentionally) so i may have my wires crossed aswell.
  8. Im not against any type of trials riding. Whilst comp riding is VERY skillfull its not my cup of tea. Street is more my thing but i am also well aware that this sport came from comp riding it doesnt mean anything else is "wrong". Look at BMX It started as racing and now we have all different styles of bmx and nobody complains about that. Sorry to the author of this thread for fuelling the flames and turning this into another "that aint trials" arguement.
  9. I'd call that one - nil Rainbird! In all fairness both the Echo and the Inspired and for that matter Onza, Zoo, Monty ect are all BICYCLES! ie they have 2 wheels.
  10. The india episode was funny but was deffo scripted. Still its alot better than the Celebrity, dancing on the ice stars, strictly, factor shite thats all over the place recently!!
  11. The Inspired for me everytime. But your choice at the end of the day.

    New Toy

The Diggers are ok tyres. Just need to run high pressures and a DH tube in the rear at least. Or slit an old tube down the inside and take the valve off and put your tube inside it. The Ashton looks nice, keep rockin the mini seat though old skool kool!!
  13. El Gatos were better! that bike looks amazing with those tyres!
  14. Cheers mate i might just take you up on that. So far i have....... Shimano acera v brakes Odessey linear slicks Avid SD7 levers Gusset clear pads Gusset pivotal seat Primo tenderizer pedals NS habenero bars (might go Trialtech instead) 50mm X 10 deg stem.
  15. Cheers lads all good pointers. Im prehaps thinking now a 16t trialtech freewheel on a fixed rear hub and the new 22t trialtech set up for the front.
  16. I guess i can always change gearing. I'll see how it goes i may use a similar set up to what i have now and run 2 sprockets out back.
  17. Maxxis Holyrollers are my only choice to be honest! I've ran them in the past and they were AWESOME. Best tyre i have used to date.
  18. What the frame or Pashley forks?
  19. I'll have a look for some Pash forks then. I've been toying with a Element frame instead as it looks nicer!!! Bit more saving but meh!
  20. Ah i wondered when you would appear with some sage wisdom! I was thinking the Zoot fork as i prefer a curved blade fork and its the only one avaliable with v mounts.
  21. Also has anybody used Spank Tweet tweet rims with rim brakes?
  22. They are aimed purely at trials now as apposed to the older Echo 24 "urban". I belive they have a 35mm ish longer wheelbase and the BB rise is double that of the 1st frame.
  23. Yeah would of been better to say what i was planning to do. *Ashton effect frame *Onza zoot fork *Dual v brake *FFW 18-13 gearing. (down to budget not choice) something along those lines.
