Well I didn't organise this ride but I thought i'd wack a little post up to let you know there's bit of a ride going down next Monday in the Ye Old city of Plymouth ^_^ Riders that will be making an appearance; Taunton trials crew -- well the ones that arn't afraied to leave Taunton :lol: The barmey army from Barnstaple :huh: Rowan so i'm told! Mikebike Sidehop look intresting and I know there not avalible in the UK Mrazek Mod Trials looks crap but hey you never know! The funky Veritas bikes for beginners?? can we get them yet? Bit odd but Maxxis Hansventure they look great but I haven't seen them in this country Stealth hubs is there a proper dealer for these yet? I totally disagree with all of you, the rule should stand. If stocks were aloud to run singlespeed the developers would just start making 20" bikes that can take 26" wheels (not litrely (Y) ) The thing is the only things the separates 20" + 26" is wheel size and gears so if you get rid of the gears then whats the point in two categories the bikes will end up pretty much the same! Oh and as the rules stand you need 6 working gears, in the Uk this is only for the British champs but due to stupid insurance reasons bikes can't be scrutiniered anymore so unless someone makes an official complaint about your lack of gears then nothing will be said. I don't no of any clubs in the Uk that enforce the 6 gear rule for their normal events so you should be ok (N) Go and enter some comps you'll love it. matt

£53 :S Mike you should have just got a Sunn Doublewide, now thats a strong rim and you can get wicked grinds on them to. Just don't drill them to hell! Ali C did and his died :)

I love my Tibo :- (Ali bongo with maggy mounts(pics in signature)) all the stuff about them being weak is a load of rubish! Yes they do break but then so do a lot of other frames. I've had mine for 6months and it's been ridden in a world round, 2 british rounds 2 normal trials and loads on street and natty, mine is still riding fine with no problems what so ever. :P Go for it your get the geo of a £350+ bike for half the price.

Well Deng has obviously got great fanatical backing now as he's knocking out so much new stuff so quickly it's scary. The thing is though say you buy a brand new bike that’s the best thing out in less than a month it seems to be old hat and there's a new kid on the block (Y) The stupid thing is it's not like it's a few companies trying to out do each other it's just Deng knocking out frame after frame. I do agree that it's good for the development of the sport in a technical sense but I feel that people will start to get frustrated by this constant supply of new product that don't seem to have any gain over the last they just look different. :lol: Anyway that’s my view on the whole situation :- don't hurt me for having an opinion! But no prices are not going down :D I remember when the frame price benchmark was roughly £350 now it seems that there reaching £400 and up only £50 in know but with manufacturaing methods bening so good now i'm sure they could afford to set the price a little lower, It's not like the develpment cost are high! They'er all designed on PC and then I bet noly a few prototypes are made before they are put into full production.

lol! thats the bloke I bought mine off, he must have a few pairs. Oh and on the flex issue with these, basically they don't :) to flex there what so ever and i'm actually woried that this is gona build stress in my headtube but we shall see when that day arives.

That was such a great comp ;) I love Hook Woods there was so much to ride there and EVERYONE was there haveing a big old sesion after the trial. I didn't do to well but was suffering from a cold :)
